They are not expensive, the crystals were very expensive! And its really really hard to make. One of the hardest props I've made.

in one of the sticks I used both these same crystals mixed up with cracked real crystals, made the thing so heavy that it's brittle, I was thinking about making it stronger by covering a part with metal tube. For the head I used emptly water bottles, a local brand which has this shape. The body are led light sabers, from local store at 2.5 euro, you can choose 8 colour sequences in the same sabre.

Try to make it yourself, it's very hard. The cystals should not be lower in my mind and I couldn't find better flashlight at store. I can change it if I find more luminous one.

No, it's not strong enough for that! I've been on the floor in Monster Ball and in Fame Ball and this is not strong enough. But if you make the Disco Stick with just one stick and fasten the head to it very well, it will last. Making the hea with just one part is more strong, but then you can't change the light. And I don't know will the security let you to bring the stick to the concert, they made a body search for me and my Telephone Hat at the gates.

If there's a flashlight sold somewhere that has the turn on/off button in it's side that would do it (tell me if you find one!), because then you can drill a hole to the rod (made of plastic pipe) and you can press the light on and off. Otherwise, if the button is located on the flashllights end, it can't be turned off without dissembling the Stick, or then the light is always on and the batteries will end soon.

I also have thought that maybe even if the light was in the bottom you could screw on the crystal-light piece so it would be like a lightbulb. Only, with a flashlight, in a plastic case, covered in crystals, that screws on to a pole. Hopefully you understand this.
