  • Im a new subscriber & I love your style of videos. I have no idea how some people would ever leave a bad comment. Love u already keep up the great vids.

  • @evedemo8 HI Eve, thank you for introducing yourself, it's a pleasure to meet you.

  • wow u like iris! i love this flower too and how they smell in real, and how gracefull and beautiful they look growing in bunches in country side esp around florence, in perfume have only tried in Iris Nobile and Insolence, both contrary to real softness of flowers are quite statement making perfumes, will try search le labo one, love how u described gypsy water, cant wait to order online a sample of it (luckily have found a perfumeria from napoli), have a nice week Beautiful xx

  • Great video!!!My favorite perfume is the stila's creme bouquet!I have totally finished my bottle but unfortunately stila left Greece and i have no access to this perfume anymore. I recently tasted prada's candy and I really loved it! What is your opinion about this perfume?

  • @ironisugarschild Haven't tried Prada Candy yet, I don't really get very attracted to designer fragrances usually, and the name, Candy, I feel too old to wear something called Candy. I had a bottle of Stilla Jade Blossom, (I think that was the name) which was beautiful but my daughter stole it. That one and another one I loved, Benefit"s EVA. She sneaks in here while I am sleeping and then I end up saying she can keep it because they always smell so good on her and they make her so happy.

  • I missed this vid, but so glad to have just watched....pink Floyd was my husbands fav, only a few would use it and im so glad u did. Such a kindred spirit~xx

  • Your hair and makeup look so beautiful. I'm going to do this makeup look on my Wedding day:) You make me not afraid to age at all. I hope I age as gracefully and as elegantly as you. Romance by Ralph Lauren. It brings me back to high school and hanging out with my best friend at the time. Your kitty looks so hugable. I love cats. I think they are so interesting.

  • @MsLovin2010 oh honey, when are you getting married? congratulations in advance. I hope your life together brings you all the love you ever ever dreamed of.

  • Shalimar - a mentor wore this ... so beautifully

  • @WildDoveX those who wear it, beautifully, are so memorable.

  • Donna like so many others I am missing you, and am sending good thoughts your way that you will be feeling better soon. I love the way you discribe the fragrances, I want to smell them both now. Take care and I can't wait to see your next video.

    Debbie

  • Hi Donna!! I just got my KohGenDo Lotion in the mail...and I am so excited to try it!! I will let you know what I think, but I am sure I will love it. Thank you so very much and I hope all is well with you, I'm sure I can speak for all of us to say that we miss your face!! Take care Donna, God Bless and thank you, thank you!!

  • @96002krown hi honey, thank you for letting me know. i miss you too.

  • Gosh, I missed this one in my subscription box, and must be around the time youtube was messing it up, goshdarnityoutube!!!

I'm so intrigued with everything you have shown in each video, and the more you share, the more I realize how small my world of fragance/makeup/style has been. I want more, and thanks to you, I'm discovering so much!

I loved using Tatiana. I remember working out with it on...I remembered I was very slim then... *sigh* lol

  • i literally smelled your scenses! it began with the smoke of the inscene stick... i have it still in my nose and then i could taste all of the fragrances you showed in this video.....

its amazing. i always thought this was something people say they want to develope in the future but it will never happen......

thanks to the stranger i now discover your channel.

thank you for all your time and the love you put into this.... <3

  • Hey, your skin looks as smooth as a baby's behind on my monitor, you don't need a package of new skin. But I do think you would love the Quant -A-Soi by SL. It comes in only the one color and it is nicest texture. But now of course, I must find out about sk 11. And oh, it is never really too late for anything.

  • Barney's is a lovely store, the customer service is just super, but I mostly shop on line living in Florida. When I go to NY I do go in there. I love Fred's upstairs for lunch. I must ask though...where does your talent for filming come from? There is so much unspoken effect in the few vid's I've seen. They remind me of indie films. Honestly, you could probably do a very artistic, personal documentary just on makeup, which I guess you are kinda doing that on YouTube already. Refreshing stuff!

  • @TheOrganiclady cont, but i think its too late in the game to go on that route, the film school route that is. but thank you so much for your acknowledgement of my efforts. you are really very supportive.

  • Oh yes, I lost my mind big time. I bought the universal blush, which really looks like bronzer, and the face powder (you are right, there are other face powders just as nice without the price) and the makeup base. Now that makeup base is really something. It was applied on my face like a highlighting concealer and I have to say it is, in my opinion, just beautiful stuff. I also put it on my eyelids with just an eyeliner and mascara. I think it is something I will continue to buy. (continued)

  • @TheOrganiclady oh nooooo, now i am very curious about the face foundation you mentioned. i am always interested in new foundations, what i really want is a package full of new skin if you know what i mean. i am trying to find out info about sk 11, its my new obsession, i have not purchased it yet but i have heard good things about it. my filming, i swear, i just pulled it out of my butt, i think i got a feel for it by being married to an actor and director, if i could i would go to film school.

  • You my dear are 'molto differente' in a very charming way. I like that.

I've seen only a couple of your vids and they are so creative. I see that you also like to shop at Barney's and I was wondering if you have ever tried and did a video on Serge Lutens very different line of makeup. Thank you.

  • @TheOrganiclady Hi, yes, I lost my mind once and purchased the serge lutens face powder. it's really very nice, but I still can't believe I paid so much money for it, someone at barneys told me it was the best powder they had ever used, and it is really nice, but i have others that i would say are just as nice and were one third the price. how about you? have you ever lost your mind and purchased any serge makeup?

  • My father use to travel alot for business when I was really little and when ever we would hug him goodbye i would smell his cologne coming off his business suit. It was "Ralph Lauren polo for him" It reminds me so much of him. Strong, wise,Intelligent, and would do anything for his family. And when ever I was missing him I would go to his bathroom and spray it on me just so I new he was still here with me, Even if he was so far away. That will always be my favorite!!

  • Hi, Donna. Hope all is well and we can view another creative video from you soon. Rebecca

  • LOLOL roflcopter that was sick

  • However, I absolutely love the GA master corrector! Can't believe I waited so long to buy it;) hope you are having a wondrful week! Mwah;)

  • Hi Donna, I recently placed an order with Xiomara at Barney's. I ordered the Georgio Armani master corrector and asked for a sample of a kgd cleanser. Unfortunately did not get any samples and not even an invoice of charges. Oh well, you live and learn! Now I know to order from theach website so that I don't pay $10 for shipping. Basically, I paid $50 for a $36 item;( I wanted to see how it went, if it went well then I would def order again. Kinda disappointed!

  • My favorite fragrance is a fragrance oil, Black Orchid by Tom Ford. I think it smells like a very clean baby animal, maybe a deer, who has been sleeping in a Northern California Forest. I use it when I need to feel good. It instantly makes me feel better. Seeing your pretty face & watching your videos also makes me feel better. Love you Donna!

  • Fab fragrance is coco mademoiselle I really love your videos u r so inspiring

    Maureen

  • Acqua Di Parma Mandorlo Di Sicilia....Ahhhhhhhh (with an exhale).

My mother wore Chanel No. 5...like a warm, engulfing hug.

My grandmother gave me my first perfume at around the age of twelve, Chanel No. 19. I did not realize at the time what I was holding in terms of value, but I do remember the small bottle with stopper appealing to all my senses and looking beautiful on my dresser.

And two scents from my youth...Ombre Rose and Laura Ashley.

  • Hi Donna! I was painting my nails tonight and thought of you! You introduced me to Debra Lipman...I don't have it handy but I think it was like 'Ruby Red Slippers' anyway it was gorgeous polish! I remember you said you almost got into an accident driving because you kept staring at your nails!lol Well, tonight I used Revlon's 'Facets of Fuchsia', it might be a limited addition, but it is so similar to the Debra Lipman only in purple instead of red. I think you would like it!

  • My favorite fragrance is COCO by Chanel.

  • Thinking of Moon drops by Revlon, but that takes me back at least 30 years. My teacher used to wear this fragrance and I just loved it. Nowadays I where Channel nr. 5 and spray my legs with it. I thought I only did that.

Take care and sending you hugs.

    ♥ Jeannette

  • Dear Donna,

how are things going at the moment? I've been thinking of you a lot lately and hope you are doing well.

    X Isi

  • patchouli and sandlewood are my favorite and they remind me of my strong, carefree self of several years ago!

  • I have 3 perfumes that have found me...Ysatis, L'eau D'issey, & happy heart....the both transport, inspire, comfort, uplift me..I only buy perfumes...and now alas the only one I have left is the cologne form of Ysatis...why? because I quite my job for a few years to care for my daughter after a car crash..she is now 16..doing better & like you Donna...I am trying to move on to the next chapter ..peel back the pages...read the next lines....

  • Favorite fragrance? I don't have one. Each one means something different, takes me to a different place. Each one is a time stamp or song or event, good time or bad memory, yet they are who I am...and I'm not one thing in particular. That is what scent is for me...

  • This is anneasy one for me! L'air du Temps because it reminds me of better times....WAY, WAY better ;)

  • Do you know, I think I am still to discover my favourite fragrance. Perfume wasn't something I paid a lot of attention to until a few years ago. A few choices from a few well-known brands. Now I am aware of fragrance being much more subtle, but at the same time powerful enough to be a signature or a memory, or even, as you suggest, a change in mood or time. I love that idea.

  • I love 212 by Carolina Herrera, it reminds me of when I used to work in pre-shool. The kids loved it, they always used to comment on how much they liked the way I smell :)

  • my favorite fragrance is rose one by dolce and gabbana. It is so feminine and sensual

my favorite fragrance memory : I used loves baby soft in highschool (many moons ago) and fell in love with my high school sweethart his name is Brian (we are celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary this year ) every time I smell it I instantly go to that time of young love, I don't wear it but I have a bottle just to sniff once in a while :)

  • I love iris, too. Years ago my grandmother had one single iris flower growing in her yard and it was so sweet but delicate. It's my favorite flower. Whenever I was in her home I would spray on some of her Chanel No 5, but Clean original perfume by Clean smells like her. It can be comforting and make me sad sometimes.

  • I love chanel coco. it reminds me of college and theatre. ;)

  • 'm glad I found your channel today. Your video's are very unique and relaxing to me. I feel lucky that your doing a giveaway! I adore scents likesandlewood or coconut or citrus but I've loved Burberry London for years now, which is loaded with this florally woodsy type smell that make you roll your eyes up in the back of your head. It really reminds me of fall and christmas time.

  • Donna, I was wondering which concealer you recommend, the koh gen do moisture concealer prof. or the sue devitt one you use? Thanks!

  • My favorite scent is a lemony magnolia bloom - it reminds me of my Mom and the beautiful magnolia tree we had growing in my backyard of the home I grew up in. My favorite fragrance is Givenchy Ange ou Demon Le Secret because its complex - not too much of one thing and so different from first spray to dry down. Thanks so much for the contest - can't wait to try Koh Gen Do.

  • My favorite fragrance is Serge Lutens Chergui. I remember the first time I used that fragrance in my workplace, I got the first compliment I have ever gotten on a fragrance I was wearing, it made me smile all day! Since then I try to always say something nice when I think someone has a nice fragrance on, to pass the smile along to others.

  • My favorite scent is sandalwood & I think it's because it reminds me of an old beau! Shhhhhh ;)

  • My favorite fragrance is anything clean and green because it reminds me of when I was a kid and being able to play out in the rain. Weird, I know, but true!

Thanks so much for this giveaway!

  • My favorite scent is gingerbread candles, wax warmers scents, or anything gingerbread. I have kept that scent in my home for years. The smell makes me think of home. And when I leave and come home, I can smell it when I walk in the door. We've been at my mom's helping out for the past few months, and the other day we went to our storage unit to get some things, when I picked up a curtain I could smell that scent and I said "home" as I hugged it. Of course, I had to cry as well. I miss home.

  • Donna, you have such a gift for bringing out the emotions in all of us! I would have too say that the perfume that has I love and hold in high esteem is YSL Paris. It was my grandmother's signature scent. It was the first perfume I ever owned, and the scent I wore on my first date with my husband 20 years ago. It was magical and we shared our first kiss; my husband claims that I devoured him LOL!

  • You look beautiful. My favorite fragrance is Jessica McClintock and I have worn it for over 15 years. Love it. When I smell honeysuckle I always think of my sweet grandmother and my aunt. Clinique Aromatics is my mom’s favorite, glad you enjoy it too.

  • gwen stefani had been my inspiration for 15 years and i'd never been anywhere near her. and there i was right in the middle of her world, somehow. i picked up a burt's bee's thoroughly therapeutic honey and grapeseed oil hand creme right before, and now, it will forever bring to mind that wonderful memory. i have never went without it since. one whiff of the scent of this lotion will make everything a little bit better for me. its a miracle i have this scent to help conjour up the memory.

  • thanks so much for this giveaway my fav fragrance is white roses, fav fragrance memory maybe the first time I wore and layered my fragrance, used the cream then topped with power and the eau de toilette L'air du temps- strength beauty and joy to you Donna!

  • I adore a true Lilac fragrance. My mom as known for her beautiful gardens and e grew up playing in the Lilac bushes while she was in the garden. Now I think of her and all the wonderful memories when I smell a true Lilac. Thank you for all your wonderful videos

  • Don't put me in your giveaway but I just wanted to say I LOVE your hair up and THANK YOU for introducing me to the Koh Gen Do brand. I am addicted to it now.

Your videos give me such a sense of serenity.

    I love you, DonnaShorts1

  • Sandalwood reminds me of my college boyfriend-the one that got away! You're so beautiful Donna, inside and out, through and through!

  • That word, Evoke, would have to be one of my favourite words. It in itself is evoking!

My favourite frangrance of all time is ISSEY MIYAKI. It reminds me of the era in which I found myself. My beautiful cousin Ruth wore it as her signature fragrance then, and since then, so many years later, I must own it as the key to evoking that wonderful journey.

Thank you Donna for the opportunity again to share! Love and beautiful memories to you. Isi XXX

  • I love how fragrances evoke memories. My favorite fragrance (male) is Boss - Hugo Boss and reminds me of summer (citrus). I also enjoy escada sunset heat because it reminds me of my best friend and spending time with him during the summer.

  • Believe it or not my favorite scent is Tabu. My mother wore this and Ambush. She would purchase the solid form and keep them in the fridge. She said putting them on cold was exhilarating. I get so many compliments on the scent. People tell me that when they smell it, it makes them think of me, even if I am not around. I think that is nice.

  • First of all, how sexy was and is Robert Plant????? Which reminds me of my teen years when I wore either musk, patchoulli, or lemon oil. The years I was in love with Robert Plant!!! Now I wear a blend of 2 oils, Rasta and Egyptian goddess and I still got the hots for RP!!! Lovely video as always, Donna. I wish you light & love, namaste, Linda

  • The scent of honeysuckle always brings a tear to my eye and a flutter to my heart. When I was a kid, my mother had planted honeysuckle all along a dark pathway that lead back to the backyard. The smell always brings me back to that time. Beautiful video, Donna. Zeppelin and perfume....such a luxurious video. I love when you said you sprayed the perfume on your legs so it could travel. I havent found a perfume for myself yet, and this one really makes me want to go shopping asap! xoxo

  • YOU are amazing. You're so classy, and poised, and beautiful. I just found you, and I can't wait to see more. Thank you!

  • It is amazing how fragrance can evoke so many emotions and memories. Honeysuckle has always been such a sweet and happy scent for me because it used to grow wild in my family's backyard and it just caresses my senses with those carefree summer days. Jasmine reminds me of my summers in Greece with my family and that sweet scent would be saturated with the heat of the sun on our balcony. One day I hope to be able to embrace the essence of Gardenia.again. My Dad used to grow it beautifullly ,♥S

  • Love my Koh Gen Do products. I tried to have my makeup done at their counter in Barney's in Boston, but the MA never showed up :((((( Still a Chanel No.5 girl.

  • @ municg....I LOVED my Little Kiddles and still have two. The best scents and they bring childhood right back to my heart.

@ everyone else, I currently am stuck in Coco by Channel and desperately NEED a new romantic fragrance that is also very sexy. HELP...!!

  • Oh Donna! Robert Plant, Pink Floyd, perfume and makeup, I am in heaven. Thank you for this special video, you are a treasure. I am currently in love with Tocca Florence. it reminds me of my dream trip to Italy which I vow to make happen someday.

  • You look so pretty in this video. Young.

  • I love L'Artisan's "Cote d'Amour. It's described as a salty aquatic, and since I grew up near the sea, it really strikes a chord with me - it just makes me feel at home.

  • Hello Donna, gorgeous as ever! my go to fragrance is Viktor & Rolf 'Flowerbomb" it reminds me of my grandmothers peach rose garden, the blend of ergamot, tea, freesia, jasmine, orange blossom, orchid, rose, patchouli. I feel like sleeping in the tall grass surrounded by an explosion of floral freedom to spread my wings. and yes, I am 53 yrs young and loving every moment of life. Fragrance heals my pain better than any pharmaceutical drug.

  • OMG! You are always one of the most beautiful women on youtube but you look stunning in this vid! Love you and love your videos Donna!!

  • You look very, very pretty in this video! Love that kitty, also. Liz

  • my favorite fragrance memory is of my SO's Helmut Lang cologne, which he wore on our first trip together. It was to San Francisco, we had an amazing trip and he told me loved me for the first time. My heart skips a heart every time I smell the bottle that holds the last drops- the cologne stopped being made when the original brand closed in 2005.

  • Ok. Haha I think of fragrance as alter ego's of ones self. I change my mood when I change my fragrance

My old favorite was Lolita Lempicka and my night time name was Lolita.;) Good times.

Lately I have been loving anything with Violets. It makes me feel very feminine and pretty. But then I get in moods where I love my sandalwood and Tonka oriental scents , anything earthy. Wow choosing a favorite fragrace seems impossible. There are so many to fit the mood of the day. I love Tom Fords Champaca.

  • Beautiful as always! My favorite scent has been Chanel N. 5 for years. When I was younger, I read that Marilyn Monroe wore it, so I went to sample it. I have loved it ever since. Another I love is Euphoria by Calvin Klein. Stay beautiful! Dana

  • Gorgeous! You are gorgeous!!!! Thanks for this giveaway. Yearning for some KGD and that gel sounds amazing!

  • "Oh by the way, which one's Pink?" :)

  • When I was about 16 (we're talking in the 70's) and wanting to impress the girls, I went out and bought a cologne called Jade East. I think I put on too much before going to the party, as several girls noticed I was wearing cologne but nobody said it smelled good. I threw it out the next day. BTW, the good memory from that night was the music...Pink Floyd and Led Zepplen, How ironic!

  • Sorry, I'm a long winded commenter...Favourite fragrance memory- my father buying my mother Shalimar for christmas one year when I was a child...because "it was the only one that didn't give him a headache" :) I love Shalimar to this day.

  • My favourite fragrance is Opus II by Amouage. I received it as a tester, having never been a 'fumehead' before that point. After a few hours, I just couldn't stop smelling myself and thought 'I need to have this in my life!' I feel like a million bucks whenever I wear it. And because it's so niche and pricey, I only wear it when I need a real pick me up or want to feel extra special.

  • Donna, your makeup looked fabulous in this video...those red lips. (Not that it doesn't always look great!) I've very envious of that red rose necklace!

  • Another great video Donna! My favorite scents for over 20 years has been Body Times China Rain & China Lilly perfume oils. Just makes me happy to smell them. Always get compliments. As far as memories, sweet pea and honeysuckle brings me back to my Mattel's "Litlle Kiddle" dolls in 1970's. They were little dolls in plastic perfume bottles. They smelled amazing to me.

  • dkny...fav fragrance! clean!... :)

  • I love Taj Sunset by Escada and I also like Christina Aguilera's By Night. My Grandma used to wear Youth Dew I think by Estee Lauder..............even though I don't care for it really ..............that scent always reminds me of her and how glamourous I thought she was. :)

  • A beautiful video! My favorite right now is Dolce and Gabanna Light Blue. My favorite memoy is of my grandmother's signature Tabu by Dana.

  • This is more about the power of connection of scent. My father's mother was a salon owner in Chicago. aka my grandma. He was at her business quite bit growing up. He doesn't like strong scents - uses organic cleaners etc. I was in a beauty supply house many years after she passed with him. I thought he'd complain about all the smells. ( he normally would) He was in the isle where the perms were. ( smells like cat box lol) He said, "This smell reminds me of my mother, being in her shop happy."

  • Hi Donna, This time of year I like Lancome's Tresor. It has a great dry down and I get loads of compliments when I wear it. On days I don't want to wear the perfume, I wear the lotion and, like you, I put it on my legs and the scent rises up ever so softly throughout the day. It reminds me of the Fall and brings back nice memories of the holidays.

  • The product is working on you, you look amazing!

  • Donna, you are inspiring. You are beauty and soul and intuition. You have breathed new meaning into me seeing my face in the mirror every day. Thank you. Fragrance. So so deep. So so full. I am an Amazing Grace girl right now. My daughter, a junior in high school, wore it to class the other day and her friend, Lucas, said, "You smell like your mom." My hear swelled up when she told me that. Thank you, Donna. I am so grateful you are here.

  • Every time I smell eucalyptus, I am transport back to my beloved Grandmother's apartment in California. I miss her so. She would love you Donna as she was always ahead of her time. Take care ~ Kim

  • All of your responses are amazing..a little story in each and every comment.

  • Your vid is about 3 days late getting to my house. lol Donna, watching U is like watching a long beautiful commercial..your hair up, beautiful red lip (& I normally dont care for a red lip but love & would wear this one), your expressive eyes, just a pure joy to watch-I sit N a trance & U carry me away, honestly!I dont have exotic sounding perf.like U R experiencing but my fav at the moment is Angel-get so many compl.when wearing it.Dont laugh,my first frag.mem.was my prom wearing"Wind Song".ox

  • You are so gorgeous, if thought I could get me some of that from a bottle...LOL, my favorite fragrances (for fall) are Bois de Paradis, Ambre di Venezia and Chanel Coco (vintage)...you should try Serge Lutens Filles en Aiguilles, it has that cedar-y pine thing without being Pine-Sol, and so nice for winter without evoking any memory (for me) whatsoever. I really need that Nars lippie, I need to hit up my Nars guy...ty for the video ❤ and the floyd...

  • My favorite fragrance is Angel by Theirry Mugler. My fragrance memory is of the evenings I went out with friends who supported me through my divorce. It was a nasty event in my life and my friends brought sparkle back into my life and breathed purpose back into my soul. I would get ready and the final touch would be Angel. It was a scent that forged me through fun and merriment, finding all the bits and pieces that had gotten lost. To me, it is still a scent of friendship, fun, and healing.

  • Thank you for sharing, your videos are so wonderful. I love Diors Hypnotic Poison, my mother wears this and it smells lovely. Though everything she wears smells beautiful on her! She must have great chemistry with fragrance.I wish I had that, unfortuately most purfumes dont smell great on me after one hour. I have no idea why! lol

  • Another moving, beautiful donnashorts production... and generous giveaway! I don't have a profound emotional attachment to any fragrance, perhaps because my mother is allergic, but I do remember her bottle of obsession, which she kept in the medicine cabinet and used sparingly on special occasions. I tend to use perfume in the same way, but your videos are convincing me otherwise ; )

  • I wish that I could say that I have some fabulous fragrance memory from my Grandmother. The truth is she loved fabric and sewing, so somewhere along the way she became somewhat obsessed with preserving her fabric so she would put moth ball in with it.......need I say more. That was her scent to us. When she passed away we put moth ball in her casket. She would have had a good laugh, she had a great scense of humor!

  • I cannot smell EL White Linen without wanting to cry. My mother wore this perfume and even when she was so very very ill and dying she wanted to wear her perfume everyday (good for her|). Even though that was 25 years ago, if I ever get a Wiff of that scent I'm transported back to that hospital room. Hate it.

  • MsDonna I love your videos! They bring me back to earth and remind me of the ppl that truly love me. As of lately I have been going through a lot of emotional pain. Chrome cologne reminds of me of a certain person whom I accidentally allowed to hurt me the most. I've been trying my best to be strong, let the past be the past but there's this guy who sits in the corner of the library every morning, who wears the same cologne. I should find a new corner bc it's making it so difficult to move on.

  • I can not believe how sensual yor videos are.I want to sniff all the scents you mentioned now ha ha.There are many many fragrances that i relate to memories. Some i sniff at sometimes, have a giggle or others that I can´t stand. There are just so so many. I am a person that changes perfumes all the time, uses different ones in a day, even go so far as to spray it all around the house. Some staple scents are musk, jasmin & patchoulie. I do not like anything sweet, prefer the very deep tones.

  • Auric Blends Egyptian Goddess and Narciso Rodriguez For Her Musc Collection give sensuality. Jivago 24k makes me feel like a million bucks. Houbigant Quelques Fleurs has me pondering what I love so much...

  • my perfume that I can not get away from is my beloved coco mademoiselle by chnel. I wore it for my wedding and not only does it smell amazing but it reminds me of a special day. I try to try new prefumes but I always come back to the coco. I have never smelled anything like it. <3

  • My recent discoveries : Sisley Fragrances - oh la la! Eau de Sisley no. 1 and 2 make me happy and always feel yonger for some reason. Eau du Soir however,is romantic, deep and so sensual. It last a long time and putting a bit of it at the back of my thighs it makes heads turn towards me. I likes perfumes that are not too popular. Voil'a Donna and thanks for making my evenings interesting with your videos especially with these comments from such a nice crowd. A bientot!

  • eep! I almost missed this! Silly subscription box ...But I knew it was time to look for you lol. Gorgeous necklace at the beginning ;)

    8:30 - wow... what a gorgeous look!

OK - favourite scent memory: When I was small, staying at gramma's, I'd sneak into her room and admire her lovely boudoir. She had a perfume in a roller ball on her dresser and I'd put some on and I'd feel so glamorous .. just like the ladies in the B&W films I'd watch late at night sometimes in the summer. ~happy sigh~

  • Showing my age, I suppose: but O! de London was the scent of my teen years. It's available again, but Yardley sold the formula long ago and it can't be found anymore in the tall splash bottle.

  • My favorite fragrance is Bond No. 9 New York. It is the perfect scent for me. Not too strong, but makes me feel sexy and happy. My favorite fragrance memory was when my mom wore something called Faberge (I think). She just passed away and that memory came to me last week that I think I want to try to find some so I can keep that memory alive. You are beautiful and I just love your videos!

  • I'm so allergic to fragrance !!! It's horrible. I can wear Tova Signature which I get so many compliments on. Wish I could use more....

  • Coty Musk, was my very first fave. So, so long ago. Lancome Hypnose now. Not a stretch by any means. Both sweet and sexy just like me:-)

    Thank you Bella Donna.

  • I see that someone else also likes my beloved Chanel Coco. I've been wearing it since it came out in 1985. My sister used to comment on how after holding my niece, she would smell me (she's now 27!) I guess I used to spray too much, ha ha! Now, I don't wear it everyday as it really is perfect for cooler weather and I happen to live in the hot desert; but come Dec or Jan and I will pull out my beloved bottle and enjoy...

  • My favorite fragrance is Destiny by Marilyn Miglin. It contains only white flowers and is a very clean & delicious fragrance. I wear this when I have to go somewhere that I'll be around a group of people. Always wear to a doctors appointment. Fragrance memory is Chanel no 5. I remember my Mother spraying this on her when she was going out on the town. She only wore this for special times. My Father always bought this for her for Christmas or birthdays. I have a bottle just to smell.

  • My favorite fragrance is "Coco" by Chanel.Everytime I wear this someone always stops me to tell me a variation of "U smell beautiful".The edp is smooth as silk while the edt is spicier in the drydown. My favorite memory with Coco is having an icu patient insist I keep visiting him because he fell in love with it&felt it to be very healing.Fragrance can help with so many issues-a new uplifting one is Donna Karan "Women".Topnotes include chilled ice vodka!!:)

  • My favorite fragrance is the Gucci Rush Oil. I have the Gucci Rush in the Red square bottle but it doesn't have the staying power that the body oil has I found...same awesome scent but I can smell the oil all day. My Mom always had an awesome scent to complete her morning routine. Most often she wore Knowing or Beautiful. I don't believe she ever left the house without her spritz of fragrance. She always made me feel as if it was part of her look of the day.

  • I just recently discovered you by recommendation of another youtuber, makeupneversleeps and I adore your videos! You are a beautiful person inside and out and your videos make me cry. I applaud you for having the dignity to pick yourself up after your husband's passing and continue giving to the world. You have so much to give. You have excellent taste in music, fashion, and cats! My favorite scent is Rose in all capacities, currently wearing YSL Paris which has a nostalgic feel.

  • thanks for playing "Pink Floyd" in the background, love them, and I love many perfumes, but one that stands out is "First" by Van Cleef and Arpels, I used to get a lot of compliment wearing it, and I also like "Rush" by Gucci, its so hard to pick one scent and stick to it, cause we all know there are so many other fantastic perfumes out there ;)

  • My favorite memory of a scent is Dolce&Gabbana- "By" in that leopard packaging, it reminds me of the first time I was ever "in love."It used to be "my signature fragrance." It also makes me feel sad now, so I don't even see it in stores to smell it anyway. My favorite perfume frag. now is Lolita Lempicka's "L." I love the sweet and spicy. I also love Ylang Ylang....specifically from Aveda...mixed with Jasmine...aka the Energizing composition. (lol) <3 ya.

  • Not a favorite any longer, but I remember Evening in Paris in a little blue bottle from the five and dime as a young girl, a memorable fragrance, along with home permanents! The sense of smell is deeply connected to memory. Rebecca

  • Tom Ford Arabian Wood.... My legs go up every time I smell! LOL!

  • My scent of choice does not come in a bottle. I do sleep with it close by & I always have one in my handbag. It's a book. I have fallen in love with them, cried with them & traveled to the corners of the earth with them. The vintage leather bound ones put me over the moon. I love how a book smells! Book lovers never go to bed alone :)

  • (cont) Old spice I turn around to see who's wearing it, just in case.

  • Old Spice, it reminds me of my Grandfather who passed two years ago before Christmas. He was a true, timeless gentleman. He wore Old Spice after shave every day. I bought it for him for Christmas for almost 30 years. Even after he grew tired of the scent he still thanked me for the gift. When we were going through his personal belongings we found every bottle I had ever given him, both used and unused, with a date marked on them. Not one was missing from my childhood onward. Every time I smell

  • i fell in love with a boy in my twenties who wore issey miyake for men and have worn issey miyake for women ever since. i love it and have worn it for 15 years now. i don't ever wear anything else because i love it that much. however, i do not wear the original - i wear the summer editions which they change every year and every year i buy a bottle or two and love it...

  • Donna, I am really considering the Bag Event this year, so thank you for all the great suggestions. My favorite perfume is Angel by Thierry Mugler. The first time I smelled it, I was in line behind a stranger at the grocery store. I was so overcome by the delicious aroma that I told her I could just take a bite out of her! She looked at me curiously, then we both cracked up laughing!

  • Hi Donna,

I have always loved Estee Lauder Pleasures. My favorite story with Fragrance is that Pleasures has become my "signature scent with my little nephew. If I dont wear it he says "Aunt Jackie, you dont smell like yourself! not as good. If it were up to him I will need to wear that perfume for life!

  • Oh wow I just love different types of fragrances & so depending on my mood I always have several to choose from. When I remember the first time I had a bottle of Chanel N.5. I couldnt get enough of it. Now I have it & use it on occasion when I need that extra bit of confidence or is it comfort. I also have developed a liking to sandalwood over the last cpl of yrs. DK's Cashmere Mist has been my go to the last cpl yrs. : )

  • Lovely vid. I'm in love with Dolce & Gabbana Blue. Love it! Just wish it lasted a little longer.

  • I just love Chanel Coco Mademoiselle. My daughter purchased it when she was a teen and it's one fragrance I can actually smell. My "smeller" has never been strong hence I cannot enjoy aromatheraphy . That is one regret I will always have in this life.

  • When I was 16, for Christmas, I got my first real perfume, Opium. I loved it instantly and from that moment I started to develop this taste for heavy oriental perfumes. There are several of them that I love and all of them are heavy floral/woodsy oriental. I will always have my Chanel 5, Coco Chanel, Opium, Lou Lou, Youth Dew, Must de Cartier, Hypnotic Poison. Recently I got Shalimar and I love it! It reminds me of my Grandma's jewelry box made of sandalwood. Love the video Donna. Hugs to you

  • Thanks for this giveaway! My favorite fragrance memory is of my nana wearing Rive Gauche when I was young.

  • White Shoulders reminds me of my Gran

  • My favorite scent is Feerie by Van Cleef and Arpels. I love very deep, sandalwood, amber, patchiouli scents. I also love lily, warmed berry, and vanilla. This scent is sweeter than I usually like, but it's soft and deep--very berry and sandalwood. Everytime I smell it, it's one of those deep, nose pressed against the skin, inhalations with closed eyes! Sandalwood, patchiouli and amber are scents I grew up with//my mom and aunt always had oils and incense burning--they make me feel at home.

  • Lovely video as always, I wish it lasted so much longer! I mentioned this in the comments on your last video but my favourite fragrance is Chanel No5 and I sometimes spray it on my bedding, it reminds me of childhood as my mother used to wear it. It's a very comforting scent to me. x

  • I thought it was interesting when I saw your last video about fragrances because lately I have been exploring different scents too. Because scents are so strongly linked to memories Ive been smelling all sorts of things to see what scents Im naturally drawn too. The top ones Ive come up with are rose, sandlewood, herbal smells and tea. This is where my scent memory comes in, my mother used to love to wear Tea Rose. I was so surprised when I remembered this!

  • I LOVE my Hermes Hermessence Collection in Ambre Narguile. It such a sexy, seductive scent. As a Mommy to 3 little boys, when I place this on I feel like ONE SEXY HOT MAMA. "Time for date night" LOL. Its pure luxery. You must try it. As an everyday scent I have so many favorites. I love Fendi, Jennifer Anistons new perfume, Oscar De La Renta ESPRIT D'OSCAR, Marc jacobs Daisy, Bliss, Light Blue. I love most fragrances that have a Mans cologne scent to them or has Jasmine in it.

  • Thanks for the sweepstakes! I have one very vivid scent memory. I must have been 4 or 5 and had a tummy ache at night. My mom took me out of bed and brought me into the kitchen; I remember the feel of her polyester blouse against my cheek. Smell of Chanel 5 mingled with ginger ale.

  • I'm really liking Natural solid perfumes from Lush. My favorite is Breath of God right now. A scent love, but won't wear is Perry Ellis 360. It smells like my Mom who passed a little over a year ago from Ovarian cancer. I get whiffs out it sometimes, and look to see if my Mom is around. :) x

  • Thank you for this giveaway..my Mom gave me my first perfume, Chanel N*5. The scent is so evocative for me.

  • Always love seeing a new video from you Donna! Thank you as always for sharing...my favorite fragrance...although it is really very inexpensive and easy to obtain...is Fancy Love by Jessica Simpson. I always say it just smells like 'me'. It is also the only fragrance I wear and wearever I am both men and women come up to me to ask what it is...and that I smell wonderful! Can't say I have memories regarding it though, but when I smell a certain 'men's cologne, it always takes me THERE!! : )

  • Hello Donna-

Thank you for such an amazing giveaway- My favorite scent right now is BLV eau d ete...very light fragrance. Loving it for summer, in winter will move back to Stella.

  • Gardenias! My GrandMother loved them, she always had a gardenia flower in her hair. The smell reminds me so much of her...

    xo

  • Hello Donna, I just love watching your videos, u are so real and I just love listening to u. Well My favorite fragrance is Dior Addict (the original) I have loved it since the first time I bought it years ago, It just makes me feel calm if only for a little while in this lonely messed up life. Thanks for sharing Donna, luv u.

  • Hi Hun. I just got home from my surgery & I'm having a. Hard time adusting to the new me. I'm so happy to see a new video from you...makes me feel better. You always uplift & encourage me. Thank you for that. My all time favorite is Dior's Ja'Dore. Xoxo

  • I love anything scented well with vanilla, can't really explain it, not any vanilla will do, I love the Body Shop's vanilla products. I used to wear lots of different scents, but for some reason can't seem to tolerate heavy scents anymore, they make me feel sick. I prefer much lighter ones now, like the vanilla, I like to smell like I've been baking :P

  • Thanks Donna. My fav is Guerlain Idylle. It is sexy yet light and refreshing. Reminds me of the good time that i had with my bf.

  • i have so many favorites scents, i don't think i can narrow it down to one. each scent has a special meaning to me. It is amazing how fragrances are so dear to our hearts and sometimes i dont' think we even realize it!

  • Just discovered and subbed to your channel. Very classy and sophisticated.

  • I love Burberry Brit but anytime I smell Elizabeth Taylors White Diamonds I think of my Mom. Love my Mom but dont love White Diamonds...lol

  • Hey Donna :) Another enchanting, delightful, relaxing video! My 6 year old daughter sat on my lap watching it with me and she had questions about everything! Together we loved your necklace and your flowered candleholder :) She wanted to know why you want your face so smooth! heehee! But my perfume choice is Obsession by Calvin Klein. I first received it as a Christmas gift in '86 from my folks. It reminds me of my college years, Georgia, and my parents....sweet, hopeful times :)

  • My mother always wore Chanel # 5 and I kind of followed suite and have worn it for years, but oh my God while buying a Lancome lipstick I tried Tresor In Love and fell in love. It has the most lovely dry down of any scent I have ever tried. My favorite scent memory is Evening In Paris. When I was a young girl, I always bought it for my mother for her birthday. During the day, when at home she wore it and I remember the fragrance lingering on my bed sheets, from where she made our bed.

  • Another beautiful video! Thanks for the giveaway & wonderful ideas. You inspire me to shop with more passion! I adore frangrance in every form, but my favorite memory is not about my perfume. When my husband & I were dating he had the most intoxicating smell. After we wed, the scent was lost. I tried for years to discover it again. I missed that smell so much it drove me crazy. Finally found it: Irish Spring soap! It smells amazing on him! so simple, like lying in the grass on a sunny day.

  • Beautiful video, Donna! My favorite fragrance i
