when raj thackeray talks of Marathi manoos- it includes ethnic marathis, gujjus, marwadis, muslims, goan ctaholics - all those who have adopted marathi culture and speak marathi. Harmony is best - but it has to work both ways. you can't ask for harmony from locals without offering any yourself.

Pratik, it does not matter who built Mumbai. well actually the British built Mumbai. What matters is Mumbai is a part of Maharashtra - you may think it is NY-like, cosmpolitan but at the end of the day - it is the capital city of Maharashtra. Everyone is welcome to come to Mumbai. Raj's stance is anyone who comes should adopt marathi culture and live in accordance with laws. don't build slums, drive illegal taxis, steal electricity just coz Mayawait and Laloo wont develop UP/Bihar!
