OHOH and btw... i'm sure y'all have heard of the various interviews with JW in which she talked about how david fridmann was telling her the dynamics for a particular section of a particular song on The Woods were supposed to sound like someone was creeping up and throwing a blanket over Janet's kit (and her frustration at not understanding this brought her almost to tears).

i'm pretty sure, yeah. cause she got everything eventually, apparently fridmann was just trying to pull her out of herself.

she certainly tried, i think. they say in a few interviews they practically entrusted their entire lives to him (don't quote me on that, don't wanna get sued [even though i don't think anyone would sue me]). so i assume she kept working at it until the light went on in her head.

god, i want to someday feel as accomplished as she must feel.
