Getting in players faces like that all the time just ticks them off... It's human nature and your dealing with BIG TIME ego's with NFL players.... As a Packers native, I hated this guy growing up but damn is he the real thing. Provided he doesn't burn himself out, he will be a great coach. I would even go as far as to say that the job he is doing with the 49ers is outstanding in consideration of the level of talent he has to work with.

Coach Singletary is amazing! What he has done with this team in 1 yr is simply incredible! As a life long Niners fan I havent had this much excitement about my team since the Walsh era. Thank You Coach! If you can get this armchair QB excited I can only imagine what your players feel.

impressive. amazing that the man still has this much passion and determination. not hard to see why he's a HoFer. If he can't get you to play hard, you're a lost cause. if you got a bunch of league-average scrubs to play with his intensity, that team would be damned hard to beat, and it sure wouldn't be because it got outworked. my fav team has one of the best strategists ever and a master motivator as head coach, but I'd still love to see Mike on his staff
