Hey man I have those same mufflers for my 79 cx500. I am having trouble with installing them big time! Lol. How did u put them in? Are they 1 3/4 or 1 1/2 inch?
that video was taken before I rebuilt the carbs , what you hear is actually just one cylinder running . Float valve needle was sticking and that cylinder wasn't firing . I rejetted with 90 and 120's and after the carb rebuild it runs much nicer now. you can hear it in my other video . Thanks for the input though might be useful for someone.

sounds like you need a little richer jetting I used a 90 primary jet and a 125 main and it works fine with pod air filters!
