prob. just a rant but it looks like your only paying for the name fender...with like 45/50 bucks I bought bluetooth headphones that also make calls from bestbuy, and invested in a better lasting battery (not the bigger battery that requires a new case), and a 16 gig isnt really needed when a 8 gig costs like 11 bucks..(I had the 16 class 6 for my old sidekick). Overall awesome package that tmobile did with the fender edition with the my touch 3g. It's good that they upgraded the memory with this unite, but the processor is holding it back. Still a good phone to pick up, but it's old tech and who knows if this will be getting android 2.0 anytime soon.

I originally thought that the MyTouch was getting phased out soon, because of it's succesor phones (The Hero and Nexus One) but I like the way they designed this. They should get an OTA update because I'm pretty sure it has 1.6 on there. :D Nice Review!

Too bad they didn't shape the little case like a guitar case. The inside does look like the under-the-neck storage compartment, however.

What I really want to know is why I can't buy this phone without a data plan, and use it at wifi hotspots for free, while using my T-mobile To Go SIM card.

I'd love to buy the phone if that were possible, but I'm not forking over $70 or more a month for internet I'll barely use. I'd rather buy a netbook for that purpose.
