@MrSrgj What you see at US rocket launches is water being sprayed around. It keeps the forces produced by the rocket at the launch space. Without it, they would destroy the windows of all the houses near Cape Canaveral. Sorry for my bad English, I'm Dutch.
No, unlike russian rockets, most american launchers are using solid rocket strap on boosters which produce a huge smoke trail. The water you mentioned is there to protect the rocket and it's payload itself from the soundwaves, not the windows at the cape ;-)
