this was the first song i heard from the new album, and i was completely blown away, this song is so beautiful, powerful, and incredibly emotional. i loved it right of the bat, i can hear it constantly and not ever get tired of it.
@goitervein mmmm, i beg to differ. i lean more to it having to do with pearl and dr. hohenberg in the prequel novel. there is a point where some of these lyrics become a bit literal for them.
actually, if anything, this entire album was released with that book for a reason. most of this is before coheed and cambria's time--deals more with the emotions driving hohenberg (who created the kbi in the first place) and pearl after witnessing the death of their son joseph because of the red army.
this is actually a very good typographical music video, some people aren't use to this but also remember this is made by close friends of the band, i love this style. Its like coheed's album it just grows on to you over time.
I was a bit disappointed with this video; normally, the visuals are so intense. The song is so wonderful, and I don't believe the direction of this video was done well. The typography was lazy, the shots weren't very focused. It seems like this video was made in about 3 hours. No effort, as opposed to effortless.
If You dont like this video, UR NOT A TRUE FAN, PERIOD!!! This is one of their best songs, off their BEST album, and probably their 2nd best video (World of Lines Is Just Pure Retard Strength Genius). The typography plays a key part to telling the story (obviously coheed traveling threw time/worlds to find Cambria)
it seems like throughout the song the typography gets lazy. in the beginning of the video is was creatively placed like it was part of the video. But come on its coheed and cambria and this song is the bee's knees!
I don't care what none of you fagots think the video was executed flawlessly the imagery matched the feel of the song perfectly. It has that unpolished look that fits music's since of loss and mostly it nullifys the need for those lyric videos that plague youtube. So I say way to go Coheed!

I have been listening to coheed and cambria since 01, and in my opinion with the knowledge of how they tend to think. Its possible that since the next line after the solo, is "Please, this is what I can give, what else do you need from me." It could be a play on no room for the solo. No room for the real play out. No matter how far it's always not enough. This version of the reality was played out in rememberance, like most music videos are seen, by me at least. So its sort or a retelling.

this was the first song i heard from the new album, and i was completely blown away, this song is so beautiful, powerful, and incredibly emotional. i loved it right of the bat, i can hear it constantly and not ever get tired of it.

hmm i feel that Coheed is hurt because how he has changed. he might be sick and "broken"(mentally/physically) but he is still Coheed deep down.
Cambria does not see it that way even if in her heart she thinks it so("Is it your eyes that choose not to see"), pushing him away.
he can give chase and yet he can never get to her..even if he pleads("Oh, please, this is what I can give
What else do you need from me?")Cambria "needs" Coheed to be himself again. that is something he can never give.

@goitervein mmmm, i beg to differ. i lean more to it having to do with pearl and dr. hohenberg in the prequel novel. there is a point where some of these lyrics become a bit literal for them.
actually, if anything, this entire album was released with that book for a reason. most of this is before coheed and cambria's time--deals more with the emotions driving hohenberg (who created the kbi in the first place) and pearl after witnessing the death of their son joseph because of the red army.

this is actually a very good typographical music video, some people aren't use to this but also remember this is made by close friends of the band, i love this style. Its like coheed's album it just grows on to you over time.

I was a bit disappointed with this video; normally, the visuals are so intense. The song is so wonderful, and I don't believe the direction of this video was done well. The typography was lazy, the shots weren't very focused. It seems like this video was made in about 3 hours. No effort, as opposed to effortless.

If You dont like this video, UR NOT A TRUE FAN, PERIOD!!! This is one of their best songs, off their BEST album, and probably their 2nd best video (World of Lines Is Just Pure Retard Strength Genius). The typography plays a key part to telling the story (obviously coheed traveling threw time/worlds to find Cambria)

it seems like throughout the song the typography gets lazy. in the beginning of the video is was creatively placed like it was part of the video. But come on its coheed and cambria and this song is the bee's knees!

I don't care what none of you fagots think the video was executed flawlessly the imagery matched the feel of the song perfectly. It has that unpolished look that fits music's since of loss and mostly it nullifys the need for those lyric videos that plague youtube. So I say way to go Coheed!

I have been listening to coheed and cambria since 01, and in my opinion with the knowledge of how they tend to think. Its possible that since the next line after the solo, is "Please, this is what I can give, what else do you need from me." It could be a play on no room for the solo. No room for the real play out. No matter how far it's always not enough. This version of the reality was played out in rememberance, like most music videos are seen, by me at least. So its sort or a retelling.
