  • Taft was pretty cool in the 1970s....

  • In case you didn't know, Taft was a bitchin' place to grow up...

  • @SYKaren Yes, It was! Sadly, I do believe it has lost most of it's luster!

  • @SYKaren LMAO looking at the video I pictured it being taft Ca.it may have used to be a bitchin' place to grow up 25 years ago but not now that the speed meth tweekers have taking over , no one could pay me to live there !

hat's off to mike ! the one handed wheelie master !

  • 79 XR 500 honda with super trap muffler.i had one .perhaps the best wheelie bike i ever owned.they were unique with their 23" front wheel.

  • It was actually a friend's bike he borrowed just to do the wheelie. Thanks for input!

  • that is awesome. I don't recognize this part of Taft. where is this?

  • End odf A Street aka old Fellows Highway !

  • End Of A St.!

  • Sorry, I don't know what model Honda it was !

  • Imagine years from now when you and your brother are old and grey... you can look back and remember all the great memories. Excellent Video.

  • He's so smooth, thought that was Doug Domokos

  • Thanks for compliment ! I'll relay it to my brother. Unfortunately, there will never be another Doug Domokos ! He was incredible !

  • wheelie king ! and no fucking helmet! on a old thumper sweet!

  • You know you loved Taft when you lived there ! Admit it !

  • Wow. A video that makes me miss Taft. That doesn't happen very often.

  • Sweet

  • Yaaaaaa mike L&M for life we love it.

  • That's just good livin'... I sure do miss America...

  • I know a mike in Taft & he's in his 50's & that good of a rider also! it may be your brother? are you related to the Barham's?

  • Sorry Rick, don't know the Barham's. That video was done around 1985 or so at end of A Street. My brother Mike no longer lives in Taft nor do I although I have good friends there and visit a couple of times a year. Taft was a great place to grow up in the 70's and 80's. Louis Kranyak

  • Your brother sure had some big balls to do that as well as he did! I could wheelie with the best of them back in the 70's, but I never did it with only one hand! Awesome!

  • Great footage mike. Can you do it today???

  • Actually, Mike is my younger brother and even though he's in his fifties I would say he could still do it. He rides motocross regularly and is an excellent rider. Louis Kranyak
