Great band, Lance, do you get to play out with these guys? And props for the green vintage Selmer saxophone--I hate it when people get those great old horns refinished. There's no way to do it without damaging them.

I am honored to play with them and it's my band so when I get the work, yes, they come and play. The name of the band is in fact "Archtop Brownie". Very astute of you on the horn. Yes, Mike has given speeches to audiences with us where he explains why his horn will never be refinished. Hope to post some more examples of his horn playing soon.

Hi Lance!, I love alot of different styles of music even though I play mostly rock LOL. If I were to film something like a "Big Brother" at my place you would catch me listening to alot of different things. Louis Prima, Dean Martin, & Glen Miller to name a few. Alot different than AC/DC or Aerosmith LOL.

Same here. A lot of variety. The guy that gets me because he can do anything on an acoustic guitar and you can hear influences from all over the map is... Tommy Emmanuel. Then there are people like Bruce Cockburn and Mark Knoffler that blow me away as well. Love Leonard Cohen for a lyric and at the same time Steve Earle finds his way in there. Nowadays I've been listening to some Stauss waltzes and Ravel's "Bolero" on headphones is a spiritual experience. Yep, I'm with you. Variety. Thanks Mike.
