Here's where you're wrong, just because an athlete's job is to entertain, doesn't mean his contribution is less worthy. You're thinking on a smaller scale in terms of contribution. A lot of these athletes have charities of their own, and ones they contribute towards. Also, they're great role models. Finally, this world needs entertainment, rather it's sports or music.

Miami is a metropolis which holds 4.5 million. yea real ameircan sports fans really care about racing they only care aboot BASEBALL, BASKETBALL, FOOTBALL n HOCKEY n who cares if new orleans is the 83rd new orleans is world class n world famous. yea like people r gonna prefer those races to a world series or nba finals or stanley cup ppl would much rather c a big boxing match in madison square than the your beloved indy 500.

Listen dumb ass, Indianapolis is the 12th largest city in the United States. New Orleans is 83rd. Oh by the way we are larger then Miami also. Sounds like you have never been here for a sporting event,"foreal tell me what's indianapolis famous for besides the colts???? lol" how about the Indy 500, Brickyard, US Gran Prix, NCAA basketball final four, to name a few.....

better idea to bring it to new orleans thats a world famous city and has warm weather in feb than in indianapolis. or oven in las vegas another world famous city. hey if the nba could host a all star game indianapolis is a cold whether city where people get into car accidents beacuse of the icy roads. theres nothing much to do in indianapolis except watch tv take a nap or go to a fast food joint. indianapolis is not a culturally diverse town it isnt nyc la or miami people!

movies...lets see...Dillinger; starring Jonny Depp is filming, Hoosiers, A League of Their Own...there were MANY others, as for the BIG PICTURE...it is no surprise to anybody who lives here or has played a sport here that this city could hold THE OLYMPICS within a 15-20 year period..the city has grown with that seemingly to be the ultimate goal...we have the facilities...we need the hotels..hotels come by getting more of what we do well...creating THE ULTIMATE EVENT out of everything

This is a great video! Whoever did this showcased how wonderful the city of Indianapolis is! Anyone who has been there can attest to how well the city has been put together. I live closer to Chicago than Indy, but given the choice, I will ALWAYS chose the Circle City over the Windy City! Indy deserves a Super Bowl host.
