Sega was lazy with their remixes, the only real remix was sonic heroes and sky sanctuary

Idiot. Sonic Heroes was just a loop of the main theme. Plus it's pretty tough to remix such major songs which a dynamite and need no remix. Also the Egg Factory theme was clearly remixed from the original tune, and if a remix was so needed I'd have replaced the Sonic CD Palmtree Panic song with a good Green Hill remix. I like Sonic CD but the Japanese soundtrack does not fit the medium.

Okay i admit that the egg factory one was a remix i forgot about that one.

secondly, the sonic heroes remix wasn't just a loop of the theme it was done with seperate instruemnts, and was at a slower tempo and contained a slightly different middle part. if that doesn't qualify as a remix then nothing does.

third - okay that's 3 remixes. compare that to the amount nintendo has and it's a complete and utter landslide (or should i say avalanche) to nintendo.
