  • dumb ass

  • There was a boy who prayed hard for 2 years for a bike. He begged God as his prayers went unanswered while all his friends riding around enjoying life.

So he decided that God helps us when WE help ourselves. After much considerations and not enough money to buy himself one,so he simply stole the best bike around.

Then he just asked God to forgive him!

He no longer has to beg God for anything, Just take what you want, then ask forgiveness!

  • It's crazy how people can talk about sin when someone in the church was GIVEN a 3 million dollar ticket. Also, yeh it is a sin cause it's gambling but did the pastor scratch the ticket? I didn't know we have to worry about where money comes from.

  • That is beautiful

  • Congrats, if I won, 3 million I'd put half of it into different charities...

  • God Damnit...you could of shared that money with me... God Damnit. :)

  • wow i admire whoever did this!

  • the money was probably spent on drugs and sex with little children.

  • what a dumbass.

  • $150,000 a year for 20 years is a bad choice. He could take the whole thing at once. It may be a little bit lower but better. His money is not gonna worth anything in the next 10 years because of the instability of its value. GOD IS AWESOME by the way. ALWAYS BELIEVE IN GOD......

  • That was just a f*cking retarded move - Giving your money to some pastor that makes 3 times what you do for working ONE day out of the week (Sunday) - Congrats, you are truly a dumb FUCK! Looks like you fell for those jewish cartoons when you were a kid, huh?

  • millions of starving children in the world and he/she gives their money to the big invisible man in the sky....just to be rewarded in the "next life". selfish.

  • these misleading fake ass pastors, need to kill themselves, cause what they is lie, they talk all these nonsense about nothing. praise the lord, bitch praise my dick or one of them statues that them chinese, Indian people worship, if thats what you call worshiping a "GOD"

  • good for you...!..thanks God!

  • I am sure GOD has enough money already, and besides isn't GOD against gambling? So it's ok for me to go gamble as long as I give alittle to GOD? Man that preacher is going to buy hisself a new car and tip 20'2 at the local strip club now. Religion...the biggest money scam ever....

  • its a SIGN FROM GOD!!!!........hahah really? wow

  • The person in question was probably a multi-millionaire in their own right cause noone is THAT religeous.

  • "Not too many people would have done this."

I'll give you a "thank god" in that regard. However, contrary to your primative beliefs, his/her donation of the ticket has no correlation with his/her luck.

  • DUMB FUCK

if god were real he'd be like "KEEP THE MONEY STUPID. DONT WASTE IT ON RELIGION!"

  • Church? Religion is fake!

  • ...thats what cults do. They hammer you with fear to give up your shit! This dude must feel bad...even if heaven exist, you cant buy your way in!

another thing, crosses are everywhere now...Jesus dont want to see crosses!

  • Your 18 and into hockey...thats cool.

I'll be straight with you. Religion is not all bad, they do contain much truth, but too often its sandwiched between lies. (dogmatic, anthropomorphic god)

Another point, a book is just a medium which contains wisdom and knowledge...any reasonable thinking person does not worship the book, but thats the case with religious folks...religion is hampering real spiritual growth and knowledge by diverting our SELF RESPONSIBILITY!

  • wow you're giving money to church which you earned by a form of gambling and all of a sudden the church loves you but i bet if he didn't win he would have to go and ask for forgiveness for gambling?

  • money is everything. god bless

  • what is his identity?

  • I bet that paster is driving a bentley now!!

Don't they know there a homless people in the street!!

  • Help a person...not an organization

  • i know who did it.

  • This is an act of giving, in the purest sense. No recognition, no personal gain, all for the work of the Lord.

  • Hmmm so let me get this straight....God condones gambling or do we rest in His Sovereignty?

  • I wish that guy paid off MY house!! :)

  • The first part of my reply they put on my channel and not here.

  • of where this so-called blessing will come from. If we pray for anything out of greed and money show up, don't be fooled its very well is from the enemy through his methods of living. I don't care of the remarks or what he could had done, he didnt. And worse, his pastor knew where the money came from, and through this example in front of young Christian children, accepted it. Greed rules the mentality of this entire subject. This is not of God the root of this is sin.

  • Aman. People think the mark of the beast is coming in the form of a microchip to be installed in the right hand and or forehead of a person, while this may very well be true, I will submit that the mark of the beast has already come. Anything that resembles the world's philosophy, values and principles (for the most part) is the mark of the beast. This is why I believe the word says we are to be in the world, but not "of" it. This this seems like something "of" the world.

    God bless.

    Gracie

  • the First Beast arises out of the sea, having seven heads and 10 horns. The Second beast arises out of the earth, having the appearance of a lamb while speaking like a dragon. This Beast exercises authority on behalf of the first beast, causing the Earth-dwellers to make an image of the First Beast, and worship him. It is able to give life to this image so that it could speak and kill anyone who doesn't worship the First Beast.

  • You live in the 21st century... to believe in such things tells me you are in a position of mental retardation and i truly feel sorry for you.

    Grow up.

    Ryan

  • And the ignorance of an embittered arrogant atheist begins...

That is all you are getting from me. I know who I am and to try to use idiotic tactics like insults to bait me in a fruitless argument with you-- someone who want to believe he or she has got all the answers, but deep down inside know he or she does not and is resentful for it, is not my cup of tea.

I wish and pray for the best for you,

    God bless,

    Gracie

  • Dang brother, you are truly *everywhere*, LOL!

  • And you know this....Maaaaan!

  • We need to remember that when we pray, we should always pray with absolute clarity and awareness in whom we are praying too. This is said because a lot of people pray for money when they are being pressured either by a personal condition of when they feel the need for money to be blessed to them for liberation out of that condition or just plain greed. We must remember that when we pray, the enemy is listening to you when your heart and mind is not in the right place. And that determines the path-

  • The Spirit of God no longer dwells in temples made with hands. I think the right thing thing to do would be find out who is in eed of money and help them out. maybe go buy some homes for some of the low income families in the area or wherever. I believe this is a blessing from God. The way it gets used is important.

  • I had to give an "Amen" to your post as well! Thanks.

  • I'm sure there is no possible way that this could have been a product of chance right. Just a simple product of the chance of winning, and the chance of the person winning being a religious fanatic. I must be crazy, clearly theres got to be a man in the sky responsible for such a thing!

  • @jamesakaustin AMEN James. That is exactly the thought which crossed my mind. Why not look for people in need of help rather than to a parish which gets by fine on weekly donations. Amen again and again.

  • @jamesakaustin Sounds all good but...Easy Come, EASY GO! The poor will always be poor, but God always will be forever and ever, amen!

What about Solomons Temple? God expects HIS house to be in perfect order.

Seriously, how many house can you purchase and give away...just a few who will enjoy your handouts, while many more will enjoy a nicer church. Wait and see, those homes given away will end up being trashed! Poor people have poor ways!

  • He might as well burned the money. But, isn't playing the Lotto a form of gambling? I can't wait to hear the justifications of this.

  • Yes, playing the lotto is a form of gambling! When we listen to the clip carefully this question SHOULD arise in the mind of a Christian -"Isn't gambling a sin"??? Should we as Christians deem this a blessing from God?? What if a single parent really needed this money - are we not to give it b/c it came from gambling? Please refer to my comments in the description box.

Thanks Brodavidbrayboy for your post, very thought proking!

  • @Brodavidbrayboy Jesus is our justification! §:-)

  • @FederalBureauOfMusic I would expect that answer from a Christian. All you people do is justify wickedness in the name of a righteous man.

  • @Brodavidbrayboy We are not condoning sin. We just accept that if we mess up, Jesus has already covered all of our sin when He choose to die for us on the cross. "For he (God) has made him (Jesus) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him (Jesus)" - 2 Corinthians 5:21. I believe in a good and loving God. God did not send His Son into this world to condemn us, but to save the world through Jesus Christ. How awesome is that! Have a great day Brodavid

  • @FederalBureauOfMusic Blah, blah, blah! You can quote scriptures all that you wish, but you know that this is against the righteousnesses of The Creator. And so with your understanding, Jesus died so that we can continue to further sin? Did He not tell people, "Go and sin "no more?' Doesn't that imply that we have the capacity to no longer sin? So, if He says this, then He is still saying that sin is not covered. And if sin is not covered, then are we saved in fact? What about judgement?

  • @Brodavidbrayboy Brief answer to your questions: Jesus is the sacrifice for all of our sins. Everyone who believes in Jesus is saved from punishment. Should we continue to sin? No. The apostle Paul said that we should consider ourselves dead to sin but alive to God. Are we still capable of sinning? Yes. But I believe that it is no longer in our nature to sin. What happens if we sin? 1. John chapter two verse 1-2 says that Jesus is the atoning sacrifice for our sins. You ask interesting questions

  • @FederalBureauOfMusic You are confused. If simply believing in Jesus saves us, then you tell me why is the world in the condition that it is in, and yet the majority of those in the world claim to follow His example? And I am not interested in anything Paul has to say. If everyone is saved from punishment by way of Jesus, then what is judgement for? Judgement is to see if one is saved in "fact" not in mere "belief." Belief is flawed.

  • @FederalBureauOfMusic Belief has within it unassurance, but the fact is bond and cannot be debated, argued or denied because of one calling themselves something incorporated by mankind and his vanities and insidious ambitions. To impose a belief system on anyone is a form of tyranny and spiritual and intellectual subjugation. Truth, facts are what matter not what one believes to be true. What one believes to be true, is rooted in obscurity.

  • @FederalBureauOfMusic Judgment is to see "If" one is saved. He did not give His life willingly so that mankind can go free to sin more. You say that, "I believe that it is no longer in our nature to sin." That alone contradicts what He said. I am sorry if I come across too strongly. Forgive me. But, for Him to say "no more" He was still implying that it remains in our nature and that we have to be responsible to "stop it" upon our own will in accords to The Will of The Creator/because its right.

  • @FederalBureauOfMusic Lets deal with your statement of Paul sir, you said, "We should consider ourselves dead to sin." He used the word "Consider" which imply s not in assurance, but, simply in image or a state claimed and yet not accomplished in fact. Another belief and not a fact. It does not matter what we consider ourselves sir, dealing in the fact of our present condition is what matters.

  • @FederalBureauOfMusic Jesus paid for those sins, and now we have to be responsible for our concious actions in accords to what is right, not what is believed to be right. It is not religion, it is what is right. The Creator gave all of us a light of divine truth inside and it must be allowed to shine past religious doctrine in which enslaves mankind. Choose to sin, no more. It is in our choice. If you think that all is paid off, then you are deceived because judgement is real and no joke.

  • @FederalBureauOfMusic If you think and feel that Jesus paid for everything, then judgment is made in that belief an unnecessary thing. If you are already saved, then you don't have to be judged. The only way that we were saved is when He spoke forgiveness of The Creator over the existence of mankind; and even that implied that He assumed more in an in-dept understanding than God of the human condition even though The Creator created the human being and know its flaws.....

  • @FederalBureauOfMusic and it also implied that God gets angry in having a limited understand of things set in motion through prophesy to transpire. If God had knowledge of this, then for what reason does God have to get angry? Why does the all knowing and all wise get angry in knowing all things that will transpire? Why does God ask questions and yet being the all knowing? God asked Adam and Eve "What have you done?' God asked Satan "Where have you been?' God test us as if of not knowing..

  • @FederalBureauOfMusic They say that God sent Job up the mountain to sacrifice his son, "to See" if he would do it. This implies that God did not know Job completely in terms of "if" he was willing to sacrifice his son. This is the "testing" that I do not agree with in religious doctrine. The Creator created all things, knows all things and so The Creator needs not to test anything nor anyone. The Creator knows. It says, "Be still and "know" that I am God." Not "believe" that I am God.

  • @Brodavidbrayboy I think that God asks people questions because He loves them and wants to have a relationship with them. Not because He doesn't know what is going to happen. I am no theologian but I know enough to know that Jesus loves us! And if He says that He chose to die for all of my sins then I choose to believe Him! And as for judgment day I will stand there and rejoice. That will be a great day! Remember that God is love! And God is good all the time! Bless you in Jesus name, Brodavid!

  • @FederalBureauOfMusic God is not involved in deception in order for to have a relationship with someone. You take care sir. I see no legitimate point to go any further.

  • And remember in terms of God "wanting" (which implies that God is in need of something) a relationship with us? There was already one with us before we were physically born into the world. "Before I formed you in your mother's womb, I knew you." The Creator knew us before we knew ourselves. Of course:) Life itself sir, is an ever living journey to self-knowing and understanding. What is most beneficial, is that we will never know it all:) If we know it all, we would destroy ourselves.

  • @Brodavidbrayboy Well, I just had a talk with my Dad about it this morning, and he says it is a sin to play any sort of lottery as God intended for us to work. I can see how some would believe playing the lottery is a sin, but I am not one of them.

  • @Famfriass Of course your not.

  • @Brodavidbrayboy What did you mean by your comment?

  • @Brodavidbrayboy I say this because you are Christian and so I don't expect you to be decent or dedicated to your said beliefs. You sell out all of the time. I expect you to compromise when the situation calls. I live in Las Vegas and everyone on that Las Vegas Strip says they are Christian who come here for a vacation. You compromise all of the time. And compromise is the first step towards the death of the mind and spirit.

  • @Brodavidbrayboy who said he gambled and purchased this ticket? Could it have been a gift someone else purchased who simply gave it to him. Time will tell.

  • I wonder if the person was saved

  • Not sure if he was but the pastor said he is one of his congregants.

  • Maybe this man had good intentions, but why didn't he give the money to an impoverished assembly, or a poor neighbor??

  • The pastor's goal is to build a bigger church although I'm sure a poor neighbor, single parent, etc. have more immediate needs - this is almost never considered :(

  • I hear u.

Hopefully this pastor will have a change of heart, & distribute the money among those in need in the congregation. Surely he knows that Temples of the Holy Spirit are more important than man-made temples.

  • I hope he knows too.

  • I think this is a case of mega church syndrome. Everyone wants to build bigger barns, oops I mean churches. But for real though, it's like there is this attitude to warehouse Christians into one huge building. Another thing, I am afraid this sends a conflicting message. We should not be gambling any way. This could sent the message to the congregation that it is okay to spend a third of your paycheck on lottery tickets instead of trusting God for provision.

    God bless.

  • Amen GraceUpEnyaFace!

  • @GraceUpEnyaFace Money should have gone to help PEOPLE in need. People get so swept up in church - the building, the barn as you call it, they forget what its about. It's supposed to be about supporting each other, loving one another, taking care of each other and being good people. This money should have gone to help PEOPLE in need not a parish so they can mount a large cross on the roof or install new stain glass windows or whatever else. These too are material things which churches indulge in

  • @GraceUpEnyaFace some churches actually grow because they're giving people the gospel, christ is changing lives, and the effect of that is that more know about christ simply from more people knowing the gospel.

if a person wins 3 mill and gives every dime to their church the pastor is probably shepherding his flock right. that wouldn't happen at lakewood, you better believe it. the false prosperity gospel teaches that money is a good thing. this cat gave up $3mill and avoided limelight. bueno
