mental, I think one of the guys even cut his finger off and tried to eat it whilst the low carb guys had no such problems. Also I think same site a guy was saying about how good sat fats were for the brain and that the brain needs fats to operate.
I have looked into IF and that seems to have some awesome benefits to it, would it be possible for you to do that alongside your diet?. The only concern I have had with do this is that I might not be able eat enough and my weight might drop a lot
@LoneGoose1977: I know of so many people who are 100% full-on raw vegans & super-hardcore on it. They are in better mental, physical, & spiritual health than any humans I know. I mean, if someone only eats apples, prob' not a good idea. But you could say the same thing for only eating chicken breast. It doesn't cause people to go crazy; that's absurd. People are afraid of this because it's "different." Xenophobia, my friend. Best diet in the world, period. Thanks a million your thoughts!
I do have some concerns with this diet though - I dont have any attachments to food, I view food purely as what good it can do me - is there enough fat and protein in it?. Because am looking to keep my weight at 12 stone and trade in some body fat for muscle. Something else that has concerned me with this fruit/veg diet is something I read on i think that 4hour working week guys blog about some study that was done on diet in WW2, and the guys that weren't getting enough fat/protein went kinda
@LoneGoose1977: People seem to think we need ALL this protein. We don't need nearly as much as most people have been programmed to think. I would feel more comfortable with you getting this information from reputable sources online than me; I'm still learning too. I just know 100% that you will get plenty of fat & protein as a raw vegan if you eat correctly. (Avocados have a lot of great fat, for example.)
I read your blog on Oct 1st and forgot that you was doing this, glad I noticed your blog today. I just grinded all your blogs/vlogs this month, awesome stuff mate. You said in one of your vlogs about the vegs, big mistake with the green peppers, I fucking hate them so much when there raw, think you will like any other coloured peppers though, also carrots are quite sweet, and my fav beetroots, they are some full of good shit. wow you dont get much characters on here.
@LoneGoose1977: I haven't had any kind of beets yet, actually. To be honest, I've never had a beet in my life...ha ha. The green pepper, to me, was nastyyyyy. But I was out of groceries, it has a ton of awesome nutrients, & I was like...what the hell. I shipped that drink like it was a shot at a college party. It wasn't super-pleasant but very good for me. :)
good to hear that you're still going strong... look forward to seeing what November will do, when you will have people around you that do the same things. Keep it up!
@kurthtm9: I think November will be a really solid month for mental growth with these eating habits. Thanks for the awesome words, as usual, mate. They are infinitely appreciated, I promise you. Hope all is well!
Good job as always. I know when I have the urge to eat something it's really hard not to give in. Good thing you have roommates who seem to be tagging along with you. I'll try to push myself harder this coming month.
@Skoongie: Hit it hard. I don't know about you, but after I have a cooked meal, I feel like shit later. (Granted, they aren't gourmet cooked meals.) Really getting closer to not wanting much cooked food at all. Thanks for the comment, duder. :)
Your hat is crooked.
