Uh........in a Catholic church, have you ever heard a priest provide a sermon based on READING the verse from the bible. What do you think Southern Baptist Bible preaching is all about. He reads from the bible, and EXPLAINS what the text and verses mean, and represent. All I ever heard in a Catholic mass, was LATIN, for which no one understood a single word, so how are you going to get a message, when you can't understand what's going on. Go and hear this preacher, and you'll see the difference.

Why is it that when someone speaks the truth it is judging? When we quote scripture we are condeming. John 7:24 we are to judge. Whatever happened to people not taking the bible out of context. About not bowing down to anything except God! What happened to where Jesus said he was the only mediator to God?I can't say whether the catholic church is the whore but it sure matches the description.Many will go to the lake of fire. Christ said this. A tree with bad fruit will be cast downand destroyed.

I grew up baptist and as a kid was taught that catholics go to hell because they dont accept Jesus in their hearts and get saved. Now after having my kids in catholic school I realize that they ARE saved. We are all "saved" who accept christ and believe in him. The baptists believe you have to ask Jesus in your heart then be baptised to go to heaven. I believe you have to accept him and love him as lord. Baptists think everyone else is going to hell if they arenot "saved" exactly as they see fit

No offense and while I do believe we are all entitled to our own opinions, just saying I accept Christ into my heart and saying I believe in Him does not make me saved. If you believe in the Bible the plan of salvation is clear in Acts chapter 2 with an emphasis on verse 38.

This is my Pastor. He is a great preacher and doesn't care about anything else other than preaching thw word of God. He has helped our church grow more than I think anyone expected. He has a great staff and is always walking around the church talking to everyone. He is a very nice and loving pastor.
