You'll burn your valves without some back pressure there buddy, and I hate to think how low your oil pressure is at that ultra low idle point. JMO.

Yeah! I do know that. It was only a test to record that potato-potato sound. :-))) Mufflers are back in place now, idle is back at 1100RPM. Top end is about to be rebiult this winter as the engine has 72k miles done.RideSafeMate. Cheers.

Yep, I ran an Evo Softie with goose-neck drags for a couple of weeks, until my right ear couldn't take it any more. But it did sound good up until about 35-40mph, then the wind took over.
