Flemish is the local language in this region. Almost everyone between 10 and 60 speaks English.

@wimasha1 Really? I was thinking to transfer to leuven for my masters in biomedicine but was rather fearful that a social life would be impossible, due to language diffreneces. thanks for the info bud.
