i have had a SDB for over a year now over 5k 40S&W and 6-7k 9mm not one problem love this little machine . am thinking on picking up another so i don't have to change out heads although it only takes a few minutes because i have a powder dispenser on it also . guess it will all depend on if i get a 45acp then for sure i will get another because of changing primer feed system.
I am thinking about getting one of these, but i wanted to check:
so you put in the empty case, still with spent primer, and the machine automatically moves through each station, and at the end the cartage comes out ready to go?
I've run thousands of rounds through it and no problems yet. The primer slide gets gunked up now and then and has to be cleaned, but that's the only maintenance it (or my other one in .45acp) has seen.
wow, I sure am glad I got the 550b instead of the SD

11:30 is less time than it takes to run to the store and buy it. Plus it's about half the cost. I can't wait to get my SDB.

I think it's the second stage. I believe it goes 1)Deprime/resize, 2)Prime/powder drop/flare, 3)Seat and 4)Crimp.
