  • @The1stPoster all pushups workout your triceps, but this "triceps pushup" focuses on triceps more than military pushups.

  • @MeBZ16 thats impressive. i tried the hand over hand way, managed to push out 20. thats good for wide push ups i usually manage to do at least 30 of those. haha as for weight I'm working on gaining and atm i'm 135lb, ik mad light but helpful when it comes to pull ups hahaha. Never really measured my arms. I actually just started p90x last week after working out with my own workout for about a year.

  • For beginners, hands don't have to form a triangle. They can be "below" your shoulder.

    How many reps and sets should I be doing? I want to see a difference quickly.

  • @OUTTAIDEAS88 easiest way to get bigger arms faster is to work out triceps and biceps in workouts specifically for these muscles. Most experts say that just doing pullups or squats would get you better results, but you can get hurt from squats. Occasionally doing pullups does help though. do tricep exercises like this one and the back of your arms will get bigger, and also do 3sets of 5 bicep curls with a benching bar. Each day increase the weight by 5-10 lbs (remember to rest) and that's it :)

  • @OUTTAIDEAS88 also if you'd like to work out your forearms as well, doing things like curls do increase forearm strength slightly. You probably won't get results as quickly as your other arm muscles, but you can also look up some good grip/forearm specific workouts with weights and without weights. And just because your forearms don't get that big doesn't mean they aren't strong, some people don't get big forearms because they genetically have smaller arms.

    That was some seriously strange advice you got.

    To increase size you should be doing at least 7 reps. This is the glycolitic pathway where the muscles use glucose for ATP regeneration. This is what makes bodybuilders look inflated.

    So variations between 8 and 12 reps are a good choice, with say 1 min break inbetween.

    In regards to sets, this really depends. Start with 3 each twice a week and increase after a few weeks.

    Remember proper nutrition and rest.

  • i do this and i'm 15, and yes, her form on the pushup is amazing, i love how she says "I don't wanna see any sagging backs" alot of good pointers in this video.
