Hey Sean, just thought I'd let you know I blame you for my new LaserDisc obsession. But seriously, it's kind of a neat novelty hobby. You can pick up a lot of great titles for reasonable prices on eBay. For some reason I like old tech. I also own one of those Panasonic SuperDisk digital cameras. Go figure.
nice lazer disk update. Your collection alot cooler and worth alot more money then my stuff is worse. 1/100 to 10% of my videos are useless vhs tapes. I recently got rebith of mothra 1 and 2 in dvd but still have not should the vhs tapes because of the conditon there in I probably wouldn't get a fair price for them there probably worth like 15 to 40$ dollars each becaise the books conditon is so good.
my spelling is horrible I know I'm going to get flame for that again eventually. Stupid trolls and hater why don't you go pick on some one like Jack Tompson I don't deserve that kind of treatment. Argh!
Holy crap!! When I saw your caption about the Kevin Costner & Keifer Sutherland, I had flashback. Wasn't the whole episode on a World war II fighter plane?? I remember seeing that as a child, And never remembered what I was watching. Thanks!!
Amazing Stories isn't complete in America however both seasons were released in Germany and Japan. They come in both English and German Dubbing as well so that's a plus. Just need a DVD Player to play Region 2 DVDs. I believe it's 11 Single DVDs or a Box set.
Going a little Wikipedia check it states that Netflix is now streaming the episodes. Huh look at that. Nice.
I actually watched Amazing stories too when it first aired Family Dog, and was also excited to hear it was coming to be a series later in 1992. Great update!!
@DavidPrime83 Nope, no movie. Just 2 seasons, 45 episodes total. Several of the episodes were double-length (so 45 minutes instead of 23). Would be nice if they'd put the second season out on DVD...
what they need to do is release a blu ray (because of size) a big box set of these obscure shows, just pack it with all these shows and call it SHOWS YOU MAY HAVE MISSED!! :D that would be badass
Hey Sean, can you name me some other Unversal series that haven't been released by them yet? I'm curious, cause here in Brazil Universal is being hated for not releasing their movies in Blu-ray. And now that they are finally releasing some, they are coming slashed, with discs lacking and all. A shame.
OK Sean, a few corrections, despite the name Capitol Critters, the rodents actually lived in the White House basement, Bobcat Goldthwait actually didn't play Max (Neil Patrick Harris') cousin, his cousin was a female mouse called Berekley (played by Jennifer Darling), the show suffer4ed from what i like to call 'Rock 'n Rule Syndrome'. Thye show didn't know what it's target audience was, so ABC ceased airing it after 7 episodes, but all 13 were aired on Cartoon Network later on.
@David315842 Been a while since I've seen it, obviously...I have most of the aired episodes on tape somewhere, but probably haven't seen it in about 15 years.
@Zaranyzerak Of course. I just wanted to correc t the mistakes mentioned on the video that's all. You should find all 13 episodes about on YouTube, if you want to take a trip down memory lane. Now if you'll excues me I'll be taking my Super Dimension Fortress and do a space fold back in time to save Neil Patrick Harris' career and kick convince Charlie Adler not to play a jerk like Jammit.....damn I forgot you can only travel in space...curse you Macross! :D
"HE'S WIZZIN' ON THE CARPET DAD!!!" I remember the episode with Weird Al as a "cabbage headed" alien. The one with some college kid who invented some gunk he poured on magazine pictures to make hot chicks come to life ... to varying degrees of success and/or horror. I also remember the pumpkin episode... amongst many, MANY others.

I was surprised to see you do not have Star Wars LD's in your collection. Someone else on You Tube must have had them.

LOVED Amazing Stories. Great actors, great stories, very fun show. Kinda like Twilight Zone/Outer Limits, but sometimes more family friendly.
Oooh! Family Dog! I loved that when I was growing up. Damn....I kind of...want those...
