  • Very nice work! Wonderful seeing Rotties working!

  • i claim this sleeve in the name of my teeth! lol good work guys

  • i have his son very powerful dog

  • Yoiu have whos son? My Dog Jake in this video or another Rotty from Bomber

  • These are the most loyal and protective dogs someone could have. I may be 13 but I LOVE , these dogs. I have two

  • what a beauty, I have fem rotti,... great prey work!

  • Thank you very much......I am getting another one from Germany in the next few weeks....Jake was a great working Dog...More drive then I have seen in most other Rotties...

  • man im getting arottwieler when im older they are great guard dos and are loyal thas why i like em

  • can we still treat the dog as a pet and play with him or is he already too aggressive to do all that? im scared to send my dog for training cos i dont want him to bite me one day

  • he is still a pet loves kids and all that...he knows when to turn it on and turn it off

  • dear rsoreo, of course, don't you worry your dog will always love you and never want to hurt you, a protection dogs is your protector for life... those dogs just have very high level of confidence and a strong defensive drive and that does not mean they will turn on you. a dog is faithful to his master and you are family to him!

  • great job in training kudos to you

  • scottyrm3s what a great looking rottie! Nice bites and nice strike. I like a fast rottie like that. Your dog does what mine was doing on the B&H - laying down. We fixed it by having the helper hold the sleeve over his head. And YA no defense until the dog is ready. I agree.

  • thank you very much. That was last fall, he now sits up in the B&H and we did it the same way wit the sleeve over his head..Ill get a new vid after I go watch the north americans this weekend. I appreciate the kind words...he turned two last week.

  • what is the b&h I am considering getting my rottie into schutzhund

  • means Bark and Hold...that is what he is going to the decoy before biting him...

  • great thanks

  • great dog, really nice looking

im torn between a rottie and a pit :(

  • I would say go with a rottie if you get him from a good breeder because they are more intelligent and bite harder.....330 lbs/per sq inch compared to 250 for a pit...if you want a working dog.

  • Boy I love Rotties. Of all the dogs we owned growing up, our Duchess was the best behaved, smartest, and easiest to train. I never did ScH with her but have recently found out about a local ScH club here in Indiana and look forward to getting my next Rottie.

I'd have a lot to learn about the specifics of what was being demonstrated in this video (besides the obvious), but it is a great video with some great dogs. Congrats.

  • Thank you very much. I am in the wheelchair so I have people that help handle jake in the club..The video is all the same Rotty(Jake) I imported him from a working lines breeder..He has really turned out awesome so far...

  • go on our website you can see jerry stackhouse, john starks and many others that have dogs from us. You obviously do not know that much telling me to put defense on a 19 month old rottie it could ruin a dog they are different then a mal or shephard but since you are an expert you should already know this but your an idiot..dude get a life...go troll somewhere else asshole...

  • Guy, I'm not the one telling you to do defense with your dog. You're the one who said that you were working some defense and I just said that Schutzhund is not the forum to do that. What is your website? Why would I care if you have trained dogs for those guys?I saw another website where they sold a dog to Shaq. Are they better than you because of that? Is their money any more green than other clients? Are NBA players less capable of getting duped than the next guy? You're a tool

  • Im a tool? Dude you attacked me, I believe you misunderstood me, we have not worked jake in defense at all yet. Even when it comes to the suit and muzzle its all in prey still. His defense will develope with age. With the way breeds are watered down these days, only a small % of dogs have what it takes to be a true PPD. Jake is a sharp enough dog that I dont really worry about the PP because he is a SCH dog however I like him because I want a true SCH dog that has some edge to him.

  • I believe they have made the protection faze of SCH almost an ob routine. As the dogs get older there is a great deal of pressure put on them. Our club just placed two people in the top 10 in the nation and one on the national team. They are great helpers, its tough because In the video im the kid in the wheelchair so its ni8ce to have people to help out....

  • As far as defense if you new anything about Rottties they mature slower....YOu do not want to put to much defense on a rottie until 2 years old or a little older.Even though he has not shown any avoidance, I do not want there to be a chance for it in his maturation process...

  • Strong dog :)

  • Thank you very much. Im in the wqheelchair in the video so I loved it when he broughtme the sleeve.

  • "people should use something a little more controllable for self-protection. like a gun."

i have trained all my past and my current rotts in ScH.

    facts:

there is no safer dog to be around than one trained extensively in this manner. dont tell me how docile your golden is, because it doesnt listen like my dogs do.

and remember this, you can never turn ones dog against their master, but you sure as hell can get hold of their gun and use it on them.

    get informed, dumbass.

  • really nice dog .. strong .. smart and reaaaaaly fast .. his standby is supereb .. good luck with cute rotty

  • Thanks you very much, I appreciate it. He is just now 19 months and will get his BH next week.

  • Really i wish you all the luck .. and i think you should be so proud of your self to reach such nice phases with ur rotty .. and i wish i have such training center for schutz here in saudi arabia ..

any way sorry for my english and enjoy ur time with ur rott

    good luck

  • mmm. not a fan...

people should use something a little more controllable for self-protection. like a gun.

  • ITs Schutzund and he is 18 months old....lol I got a gun to..haha

  • i had no idea what that was until just now. google FTW. and if thats what hes trained for then good job.
