  • Andre was alot more physical in this one that he was in December of that year.

  • This was the worst AJPW match I've ever seen, thanks entirely to Baba and Andre, but it was still really damn fun.

Really crazy how hot the crowd was for the bad wrestling with Baba and Andre. I'm glad they had Jumbo/Gordy and Hansen/Dory to make the match watchable.

  • @guitar8890 Baba and Andre were both ill during this, Andre was in a huge amount of pain and could hardly move. What do you expect them to do, moonsaults? It was very brave of Andre and Baba to wrestle while in pain and bas health, the Japanese crowd still respected them as wrestlers for who they are and what they do. Wrestling isnt just about moves.

  • That was a fun match, Baba with the sly smile on his face, too bad Andre's body was destroyed during this

  • Like cheddar cheese, Terry Funk makes everything better.

  • I agree... except with scotch

  • Just tried it...

    You are correct.

  • what a classic video

  • Very good match.

Great to see the always crazy Terry Funk get involved brawling with Andre the Giant.

  • What year was this?

  • in 1992

  • Match would have been great to watch ten years earlier. Dory Funk Jr. still performs very well in the ring.

  • Wow! That was a prety good match. Given the phisychal condition Andre was at the time, he didnt looked all that bad.

RIP Andre, Giant Baba, Jumbo Tsuruta and Terry Bam Bam Gordy. Four of the all time greats that are greatly missed and never will be forgoten.

  • Notice that once Andre left the ring he never re-entered the ring even for the post-match stuff. He was probably in too much pain to even climb up the ring steps let alone step through the ropes. In particular around 2:22 when they go to a wide shot you can see Andre gripping the ropes on the floor looking completely spent. Otherwise given some workers' limitations this was a fun, well-laid out match.

  • Thanks for posting the end of this match. Classic stuff! Do you have any more latter day Andre matches?

  • No Problem
