This scene isn`t really accurate, trees of this type would not be in England in the 12th century. The only evergreens were Scots Pine and Yew,the ones here are neither. This is a modern softwood plantation ,very lazy work by the makers.of the show.lol
@farhandafunk Robin of Sherwood is the name of the television series. It ran during the 80's. As for the character Nasir - he was introduced as a Saracen slave captured in the holy lands and brought back to England by one of the first bad guys Robin Hood faced, the sorcerer Beleme. When Nasir was freed by Beleme's death he joined Robin's band of outlaws even though he could not speak the language. Nasir rarely speaks, letting his body language tell his story.
@farhandafunk His background, told in 'The Greatest Enemy' and 'The Sheriff of Nottingham' is that of a Hashyshun assassin who turned his back on his sect because he was sent to kill his best friend, teacher and brother, Sarak. Everything else is up in the air as Kip and Mark left the rest up to the imaginations of the people watching.

Love the 'kidney slice' move here. Nicely choreographed scene, even by today's standards.
