Peter is just way too tall for andy, think he had a few pounds on him too. Peter Actually beat both andy hug and le banner I just saw, though he looks rather flabby and floppy coordination, he still kicked alot of ass.

@ISRAELKING100 i know a lot about cancer and it can be in your body for many years i agree BUT he had a sudden leukemia and thats the agressive type so he probably had cancer for only a few months and this fight was allmost 2 years before he died...If you have a agressive tumor inside your body you aren't able to train hard and a K1 Final with 3 matches would be impossible to do with a less then strong condition get my point?

Kraus is a true warrior but not the most talented fighter. Andy Sauer is one of my favorite fighters stylewise. He allmost defeated petrosyan wich is the best fighter right now! I don't like his style because i think its boring but he has the best defence skills and counters well

@ISRAELKING100 Good point. Although after this fight, Andy went on to beat 9 more fighters, including CroCop, and only losing once more to Ernesto Hoost. He had actually just beaten Aerts 6 months earlier. They faced eachother 4 times, with Hug taking 2 decisions, and Aerts knocking Andy out twice. A great rivalry of 2 great fighters. Hug's family, and physicians were actually amazed at how he was able to fight as if he knew his time was short, and wanted to cement his legacy. He sure did.

@foreverland100 Overeem got lucky in the 2010 GP. He had a tough fight against Spong, then he fought a tired Saki with an injured arm thanks to his war with Ghita, and all that was left was a tired Lumberjack.

Overeem may have taken the belt home, but Peter was the hero of that tournament and I will love him forever for the heart and determination that he showed.

Pete Aerts had fought against, Bernado and two other who i forget, thats why they look tired!

If I can remember I think in the semi final Hug went the full 3 rounds and Aerts KO'd or stopped Bernado early in the 1st rnd.
