  • Best Mustang II demo on YouTube!!

  • @guzzitwin I am so not worthy, but thanks, man!

  • Hey man, can this amp play like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters, and bush or would you recommend another amp like the mustang IV

  • @Chevelle2025 Yes, this amp can hit those tones, but I would definitely recommend the Mustang IV with its bigger tone choices. I tried a IV at GC recently, and I really like that screen they have on the control panel so you can see the teaks you make. Thanks for watching. Rock on!

  • yeah this vid is GREAT! you are really playing enough different stuff that I can hear the amp at work. thanks bro

  • @hollowmenrule Thanks!

  • Nice to hear the diffferent sounds coming out of this Amp and in combi with your guitar.

    Thanks man.

  • @MrBossRC I appreciate the kind words, thanks!

  • congratulations !!! at last someone really SHOWS the tones of the amp.

  • @endrizo Thanks, man!

  • which preset would you recommend so that I can get a John Frusciante sort of tone?

  • @xtheparanoidandroid I think I would use the Fender Twin setting and add some gain. Thanks for watching...!

  • I wan't to buy this amp and i have enough money. But there are some things that bother me.Do i have to plug it in computer so it could work or it's just when i want to use fender fuse softvare.....and second thing:I'm huge fan of children of bodom and especialy one song called SIXPOUNDER....I like begining of the song,it has so much distortion and I wanted to know can I get that sound with this amp???Please anyone who can, send me respond on aleksandarmrki@hotmail.com........

  • this is another comment confirming your epic winning...well done

  • @camelterrorist Ha! Not even! Thanks for watching. Rock on!

  • i think im getting this great skills man

  • @Connorslamevideos Thanks, man! The Mustang III has an even better control panel with a small screen on it to show you the tones. But this 40watt is good for my purposes. Rock on!

  • what song is from 3:00-3:16

  • @tm0ney1351 Thanks for watching! That's just a riff I made up, D-Bm-G-A. Rock on...!

  • Do you have the 40watt or the 100watt

  • @Ryan476068 This one is the 40W...Thanks for watching!

  • what song are you playing in the begining

  • @Peanutbutter585 Its just an improv in the key of D, but I may have channeled an old 50's song or something! Thanks for watching. Rock on...

  • @bobbyswamp oh, thanks!

  • @MrGizzit2me Thanks for the kind words. man!

  • Hey man, what song are you playing at around the 0:55 mark, with 59' Bassman setting. Sounds like a SRV song...anybody else know? Or were you just messing around?

  • @mpolanzis Hey, thanks for listening! I was just messing around with some blues lick, but I may have swiped an SRV song without knowing...

  • @bobbyswamp thanks for the reply. Do you or anyone else reading this know from personal experience how this amp holds up with a drummer in a practice setting (basement/garage). I'm thinking of buying one........Awesome playing by the way!

  • im gonna use a mustang iv :sweetjesus:

  • best vid on youtube about this amp. nicee

  • @etomas6 No way! Thanks for the kind words, man...!

  • how mutch in the US?

  • @anorwayer97 bout $200

  • dude i would just like to say ur quite beast at the guitar, i like this amp, my mate has it and i must say it is amazing, u do all the settings so much justice and this is my christmas present :L

  • @rocklover12345678910 Thanks for watching and for the kind words, man! Yeah, this amp has so many more tones in her, but the presets are always just right, I rarely change 'em. Rock on!

  • @rocklover12345678910 Thanks for watching and for the kind words, man! Yeah, this amp has so many more tones in her, but the presets are always just right, I rarely change 'em. Rock on!

  • @rocklover12345678910 Thanks for watching and for the kind words, man! Yeah, this amp has so many more tones in her, but the presets are always just right, I rarely change 'em. Rock on!

  • mustand 1 or 2? and why?

  • @Roan107986 Mustang 2, because I like the tone of a 12" speaker. The M1 has an 8" speaker.

  • what is/was your volume set?

  • @okunicki It was pretty low, barely at 2 because the fLip video cam wouldn't record at high volume...

  • Man, this demo rules! One question, this amp doesn't have Middle control. Is it a problem when you're creating your own preset?

  • @Mark070795 No, I don't miss the lack of a mid control.

  • Nice jammies

  • @wolverine2au Yeah, I should have rocked with better clothing, man....They were a gift...!!!

  • hey dude, your guitar is fucking good!! even your sound, but this amp sounds not very good. too cold, and in metal distortion there's a lot of "buzz".

  • @gsorrento Thanks for watching! The sound may be due to the small video cam I was using. But live, this amp sounds pretty warm...

  • Best demo i ever see..Good job man!

  • @SoWhySerious Thanks, man! I ain't worthy!!!

  • really good demo, what model strat are you using it sounds amazing.

    cheers

  • @HDONKEY1 Thanks, man! The Strat is a 2004 MIM I bought used. Its loaded with Suhr V60 and V60LP pickups that the previous owner put in her. Rock on!

  • Great video.. I am getting mine in 1 hour so it was great to hear it so well.... what a great little amp. Thank you and nice playing :) you really nailed the vibe with each sound ... Nik

  • I agree with others, one of the best demos of this amp. Some models sound very much like tube....if it's loud enough for small gigs, I'd buy it tomorrow. It's hard to tell in a music store if the volume will work with a band. What do you think?

  • @guitarkis49 Dude, thanks for the kind words. As for enough stage volume in a live setting, I say "almost yes." I have used it at band rehearsal, and my band plays LOUD. The Mustang II got loud enough, but being a closed back, the drummer said he had trouble hearing me when the amp faced away from him. I dunno. For small clubs, I think it's OK. The thing is SO LIGHT, too. Anyway, rock on!

  • @bobbyswamp Hey, thanks for the reply. It was VERY helpful. I watched a couple other reviews, (shootouts with Cube, Line6 and Vox.....Mustang won!) and it seem to break up too much a high volume. I will take your comments with me when I try this amp. My band plays loud too (other guy has a 50 watt Marshall tube), so it may not cut it. Thanks again, and I love your playing and choice of songs for each settings! Like I said, best one out there!

  • @guitarkis49 go with the Mustang III for gigs. Same great models and effects and more and you get 100 watts. I've done a couple of gigs with it and it's plenty loud. I've never had to turn the master volume past 5 or 6. And it's an open back cabinet.

  • great one dude...it would be nice if you would tell us what song riffs you played in each section..

  • @GuitarMe2011 Thanks for watching, man! Actually, I was just making stuff up as I played. I was trying to come up with riffs that would match the settings and all. Anyway, rock on!

  • Thank you...

  • @Paczuu Thanks for watching!

  • @bobbyswamp Hey I got a question what are the settings you did for the metal 2000 preset?

  • I can't get enough of this demo!

  • @Peeb62 No way! ...thanks man.

  • the sound quality of this video is so awsom...!

  • @TheGothicguitar Thanks, man! My first few takes were really distorted, so I moved the flip camera way off to the side. Rock on...!

  • can it be used for gigs in clubs?i want to by it for gig's because it's 40w amp,and it's cheap!

  • @LordMarcusBrighton Well, I have used it at rehearsals, and our drummer is pretty loud. The Mustang was able to keep up really well. I think this amp would work for small to medium gigs. Its a closed back cab, so the sound wouldn't flow around the stage like open backs. Rock on!

  • @bobbyswamp thank you,i can't wait to by this amp!!!:)

  • My Mustang 2 just came today!

  • @stringdaddy1 Dude! Are you in heaven? Post a video!!!

  • @bobbyswamp Man this thing is awesome! Out of the box was good, but once I got into the fuse software and got the speaker broken in, more sweet tones than I could ask for! So happy with this purchase! I'll post something soon & let you check out my settings.

  • @stringdaddy1 COOL! Rock on, bro!

  • Very cool tones! Great playing and great sounds! Thanks! I am getting the Mustang V Head and bottom...$600 for a half-stack ain't too shabby!

  • @zzlong55 Thanks for watching, man. The Mustang V is a killer deal! Hope you post some videos. Rock on!

  • hi guys ... can u help me bout' something? i'm stuck between two amps.. The Fender Mustang II and Roland Cube 30? I play usually Iron Maiden and more crunchy stuff. but no new metal.. the old 80's... which do you recommend?

  • @Djsukyy Hey, man, thatnks for watching. I have not tried the Roland Cube 30 but have nothing but great reviews on it. However, the FUSE software included with the Mustang can give you access to unlimited sound possibilites. I'm sure you could nail the Iron Maiden tones with that...

  • @bobbyswamp thanks alot man... :)) appriciate it a lot. :D rock on :)

  • good demo, but this amp really warms up with a rosewood fretboard, humbuckers, and some tone tweaks

  • @cincyrocked Thanks for watching. Yeah, this amp loves the humbuckers, too. I'm still playing this amp every day and finding new great tones...

  • dude you f'ing rock!

  • @Silencer84 No way, thanks man! Love your Hendrix cover...

  • @bobbyswamp thanks ;) your vid got me hooked on the Mustang II, i'm gonna buy it ;) Rock on!

  • Can you tell me if you HAVE to use the Fender footswitch designated for this amp, or will any latching footswitch work? Thanks, great tone demo.

  • @stringdaddy1 Hey, man, thanks for watching. I don't know the answer to the footswitch question, I'm sure the Fender site can answer it. Rock on.

  • should i get mg30fx or fender mustang 2?? which amp is better for gigging?? i play from foo figthers right up to metallica ,, PLZ RESPOND. :)

    CHEERS! x

  • @marfender24 Thanks for watching! I have an old, beat up Marshall MG30 that I have used for gigs, but it doesn't have all the effects. I have used the Mustang at a full band rehearsal, and it got loud enough. Louder than my MG30. I would recommend the Mustang over the MG30FX due to all the tone options.. Rock on.

  • @bobbyswamp ahhh thanks bro :) and on the fuse software,, can u downlaod backing tracks??

    keeep on rockin' bro! x

  • @marfender24 Not sure about downloading backing tracks, I haven't run across that feature yet. I'll let you know and let me know if you find out...! Rock on!

  • @bobbyswamp haha ok, thanks alot bro :) rock on! x

  • Legen…wait for it…dary!

  • @IWANTMOREOFJESUS Thanks for watching!!

  • Not a bad little amp! that 65 Twin reverb is wayy off tho.. I own a real one.. And that sounds nothing like it.. But the other models sound great! Awesome practice amp for sure! Great video!

  • @VoodooChild501 Thanks for watching! Cool that you own the real deal, man! You should post some vids. But yeah, I have a '76 Twin Reverb silverface, and there ain't nothin' like the sound of that amp on full roar. But this lil Mustang II is a blast to play at any volume. Rock on!

  • I'n this demo are you using any of the FUSE applications or is it just the standard presets on the knob? Thanks man!

    Regards,

    Michael

  • @zouavefrench Hi Michael! In this video I am NOT using the FUSE application. Just the amp's presets. However, I have downloaded the FUSE software included with the Mustang, and it is OUTSTANDING! The variations in tone that are available using the FUSE software are ENDLESS.

  • @bobbyswamp Awesome!! I have 2 Strats, and 2 Hollowbody Archtops. 1 with Humbuckers, and 1 with 3 P-90's. Those gits will sound fantastic with all the settings. Thanks Bro!! Just waiting to get paid and off to GC and pick it up! Rock on friend!

    Regards,

    Michael

  • @zouavefrench Cool!

  • @Ibanez2570P Ha! Thanks for the kind words, man. Rock on!

  • Damn nice playing ,and great demo. I'm getting one ASAP! Thanks

    Regards,

    Michael

  • @zouavefrench Thanks for watching! I can tell you, before I bought this, I was trying it out at Guitar Center almost every day for two weeks driving the sales staff crazy. I finally bought it and have no regrets. Its a fun amp. Rock on!

  • @hotnakedzombies Thanks!

  • Great demo!!

  • @klv400 Thanks, man!

  • I just bought this with a blade standard!

I am a beginner but this is gonne get me rocking!!!!!!

  • @Aeris251 Cool! Hope you post some vids, too! Rock on.

  • Thanks for the demo! Sweet playing, friend. Glad to see your comment that it can keep up with the drum/bass players, but it also kicks out some great low volume sounds- in the vid, I could hear the sound of your strings acoustically, which tells me that the amp was NOT dimed for the demo. Impressive. Didn't realize you had a youtube channel- I'm now subscribed!

  • @Peeb62 Bro! Cool to find you here, too! Yes, we are Gear Aholics, man. Thanks for the comments, and I'm subscribed to YOUR channel. Rock on!

  • This is a better demo than any of the "pros" managed to do. Nice clean playing technique as well! A++++++++++++++++++++

  • @ChorltonM21 Dude, no way! Thanks, man, I appreciate the kind words. I thought every one was going to slam me for my lame clothing coordination! Thanks for watching.

  • Thats the 40W one, right?

  • @Shakuugan45 Yes, this is the 40W. I recorded this at a pretty low volume because of the clipping sound I get from my little vid-cam when its too loud. Thanks for watching!

  • @bobbyswamp awesome, thanks for that great review, now I'm sure - im buying it

  • What is the name of the song you are playing at American 90's (3:25-3:50)?

  • @HakerComp Its just a riff I made up. Thanks for watching!

  • Man, what do you think of this amp? I´m serious thinkin to get one... Thanks.

  • @zzseba Love this amp. Its a blast to play, easy to tweak, and plenty of power. I used it at rehearsal a couple weeks ago, and had no trouble getting over drums and bass....

  • @hotnakedzombies Thanks!

  • Thanks so much for including the clean tones. This is what I'd be mostly playing as I'm so old. I'm going to get one of these some day by golly!!!!

  • @Fmaj7b5 Thanks for watching. Yes, the clean tones are amazing. I highly recommend this amp. And by the way, you are not old.

  • One of the best demos for this amp

  • @svenzia Hey, thanks!

  • Great play, sounds great!

  • @zzseba Thanks!

  • Thanks for showcasing

  • Hey, really nice playing! I'm thinking of buying one, it seems to be the bargain of the century!

  • @dejfson1 Thanks, man! Yeah, I really have fun messing around with this amp. I agree, great price for all the features.

  • My Mustang II amp doesn't sound like that - it must be broken!

  • @MrVemola just gotta crank it and play!

  • Great playing.

  • @guitardbucket thanks!

  • I usually don't comment on youtube vids unless I have a question. But I just have to say that your playing is outstanding, and the combo of your guitar, amp and playing were super cool in this video. If you post any more vids, I'd love to see more of your left hand playing. Great job.

  • @flipside1974 Dude, I am so not worthy, but thanks for the kind words! You know, I didn't mean to leave either of my hands out of the shot, but I was too lazy to re-record the thing. Rock on!

  • @bobbyswamp I am actually heading to Guitar Center right now. I can't decide if I am going to get the Squier Classic Vibe 60's Strat or the Mustang II. I am eventually getting both, unless I decide on the mustang III instead (which comes out this week.) Keep Rocking.

  • Now that's TONE :o) Hey what pickups you have in that baby. Love the sound.

  • @aLinuxTV Thanks, man! I'm not sure what pickups are loaded in the Strat. I bought it used at Guitar Center a little over a year ago. Its a '94, and the previous owner did a bunch of mods on it. Locking tuners, copper shielding in the cavities, and the lower tone knob was converted to a fader knob for the pickups. Anyway, rock on!

  • @bobbyswamp

Wowzers, its a keeper, don't get rid of that one..that's the real STRAT sound.

You too, keep a rockin - Fender Mustang II Amp sounds amazing as well .. I

just happen to own one myself ..... lol
