  • why your engines is not open ?

  • Thank you ladies and gentlemen for flying Budweiser airlines. The weather outside is a baumy 100 degrees. If any of you need to change your shorts we understand. If any of you on board collect aluminum cans, we have many in the cockpit, just knock on the door and we will be glad to give you them. If you happen to look like osama bin laden, we will need to see some I.D. Again thank you for flying Budweiser airlines and have a great day!...Buurrrrrppppp

  • my monkey could´ve done better

  • BBAAADDD landing

  • landing juz like a spacecraft lol''''but good job man...such a high vert. speed to a safe landing.....remember PAPI next time=]

  • where do u get fs9? im looking the net 4 it i cant find it.

    Cheers

  • is that plane they money worth?

  • yes, i think it's the best add-on plane ever. but you can also download it.

  • right thx

  • are you going to buy it? or to download?

  • i dont know i have buyed the wilco airbus series volume 2 but i buy the PMDG 747.

  • ok, nice

  • huh? yeah but the downloads never works because pmdg is so good secured did they work for you? thx

  • well, most of them don't work, that's right. But i've downloaded it and it works:D

  • well u use FS9 or FSX?

  • FS9, but like I sad, most of I've downloaded don't work. but now I have one which works.:)

  • OMG :| this is a waste of time.... DONT LAND WITH FULL FLAPS WITH ENGINE FAILURE!!!!!!

  • Adjust rudder trim!!! when the engines fail

  • Terrible video, is it a pet monkey behind the controls?

  • i wanna buy pmdg

but just asking id i buy it is the v1 rotate

v2 callouts going to b included???

  • Yes they are.

  • let me give you a tip. In a 747 with 2 engine failures (especially on the same side) you should use max flap 20, depending how heavy ur aircraft is. The reason is that your flaps are creating a lot more drag on one side than the other, this causes your plane to turn, and with the lack of power from the other 2 engines your aircraft will stall.

Also you were very high, you could have easily preformed a 360 turn to the left and lined up perfectly for the runway at a good altitude

  • well rather be very high then very low i suppose..lol

  • Hey! Perhaps he isn't a professional pilot.

    Regards.

  • too high...the G's when u go down like this are high...

  • shit that was a nearly crash landing!

  • look for fs copilot - its free. and its exactly the same...only it's not pmdg

    =)

  • What a shit, full flaps with 2 engines out! Nonsence. There must be flaps20 max.

  • i agree....not even 20...since its kinda a heavy plane only 10....

  • hey u knw in da start of the video you were in virtual cockpit view..how do u change the view in virtual cockpit view( like looking around),...?

  • hold down the spacebar on the keyboard, then move the mouse. you can zoom in and out by pressing = and -

  • or if you have a scroll button you can use that to zoom.

  • You were very high. Nice video. How did you record it?

  • It's part of the plane. When you buy it, you get them.

  • Did you tried to start the engines again?

  • kind of a hack job of a landing. you should keep your engine thrust steady when you lose engines on one side so that your plane does not yaw off to the side each time you make a power change.

  • that was bad if you lost engine 1 and 2 the 747 must drivt to the left but yours had drivt to right

  • What are you talking about? Simple laws of physics. If the thrust is on the outer most part of the wing producing thrust, the plane would drift right.

  • dude, too steep at the end there. the full back pressure needed was evident of that. IRL you wouldnt have been able to apply that much back pressure due to the extreme forces needed.

  • horse shit the plane is designed to be controllable by two people at all speeds, that's why it has hydraulics and backup hydraulic pumps for each engine.

  • How well could the real boeing 747-400 land after losing all of its engines asuming you were well within gliding distance of the runway. I'd imagine with reduced flap landing and higher airspeed it could handle it. they must practice this in the sims often in real life

  • Ever heard about the Air Transat Plane?

and the British airways plane that lost all of its eingiens it could of landed if there we no massive mountains

  • Whats your computer specs? Good landing

  • from where did you get htic virtual cockpit

  • .......

  • yeah stupid landing

  • what a fantastically crap landing. good man.

  • for me its the 737-800 for european flights and i use the baron 58 for flight training also im working with the a320 to replace the 737-800 and i'm then going to conduct domestic flights in the 737-800

  • Did you perform an emergency decsent if so make sure you perform using autopilot and make sure you keep the cabin pressure correct to ground.

  • I think this guy gets how to fly the plane mate.

  • I think so; out of interest mistahmiles have you logged any flight sim flight time?

If you what plane do you use

  • yes, i have. you can look for me on VATSIM as WWA1846. i have flown loads of planes, but my favorites are the 737-800, the king air 300/350, and the cessna caravan; currently i am working with the CRJ-200 doing mainly regional routes.

  • 1-2 are they your outboard engines? If so a 747-400 is fully capable off flying on 2 engines for enough time to land. If 1-2 are your leftside enigines then apply alot of rudder to eqaulise the power lose

  • you start the apu only if all the engines are out, if there are engines still running then there is no need for the apu to generate power for the plane.

  • Ok ... if the engines fail during flight. I will loose all electrical including primary flight display?

  • I'm sick of these people saying that this and that is wrong and that he should of done various procedures to mkae a professional landing. Its Flight Simulator for fucks sake leave the poor guy alone, the landing doesnt have to be perfect. In my opinion it was quite good.

  • i completly agree, people always say crap and never make a video any better they need to make a video and we should all go and tell them what to do next time

  • When you have 2 engine failures, you should switch off those engines, start the APU and move the throttle sticks of the working engines ONLY! Correct me if im wrong.

  • The PMDG744 Is so easy to fly.

  • I love watching these planes -anyone who can fly them is a magician

  • ok, james, well i have started somthing and i am making a compleatly new way to fly and a new 747 hand book,it will not go over speed if you are careful, and we don't wait 5 mins later to decent but we stay slightly above the gliderscope so if theres no power wew can still make it to the ground.

  • wat is best fight sim 2 buy i have ok ish pc not the best but want a flight sim that wont be jerky or crap

  • when i fluy on all landings i start my decent later so if my engines do go or i louse power it is easyer. and james55k, in reply to you comment using auto pilot will sort of stall the plane and basicly you could land in someones back garden... i might try making a video like that some time but i am best in the 747.

  • what! firstly, starting your descent later is number 1. not common practice and number 2. it can cause your air craft to overspeed, over run the runway etc. Secondly using auto pilot during approach will not stall the aircraft if you actually know the ins and outs of the 747. If you dont know those things I certanly dont think you are best in the 747

  • i find the PMDG download fsworlds.blogspot.[com]

  • naa awfull landing mate, passengers would have all been sick

  • maybe sick....but alive :))

  • is that TRACKIR your using in the virtual C-pit. Nice landing got it down.

  • It was a good landing, but you really should have trimmed the plane level first before flaring ;) you were way too low on final :) good job though

  • humm.. with only two engines that plane is hard to fly as it is, but only having power on one side of the airplane... thats a bad emergency all right. You did good to control the 747 but in that situation there are loads of things to consider... still it was on the tarmac so well done :) wise up and you can do that 10X as good

  • I bet he didn't try to restart his engines! lol

Does an FMC help in such cases?

  • You, your badly trimmed aircraft, ur inproper use of procedures, your failure to use any autopilot systems (which would of compensated by using rudder automatically for your lost engines) all annoy me. Otherwise at least you got down ok

  • i think you should have cut engines and coasted to landing personally

  • using trim might be good (both rudder and elevator at the end, you should never have to come full stick back to just make the flare!)

  • Well, i think you made it pretty well for a Boeing 747 with double engine failure, both on same side. The only misstake of yours was the terrible overflare. Els, good.

  • Good emergency landing. The people who say is bad don't know how difficult is to control the plane in that situation. DutchCommando is allright in his comment.

  • How Bad!

Bad Landing,Bad Pilot! Everything Bad! Do you know the procedures?

  • No, i dont. Next time i will study procedures. :-(

  • @Nick267 thats fucked up

  • @Nick267 don't be a dick.

  • nice

    few things to know:

try not to use more than 20 of FLAPS..

use Rudder to make up for the enignes..liek your vedio use rudder to teh left..

don't put put full power overtime on the 2 enignes in one side it will turn your airplane... don't use too much Spoilers and LAND Safely!! :)

  • nice landing

  • Ok, that landing was disastrous but lucky... ;)

  • Try reducing the flaps for landing. With a dual engine failure you cannot make up for the drag full flaps creates. Also, trim the damn aircraft in an engine failure situation. If the engines fail during the final approach and you don't have the time to set up all these things for a proper landing make a go around.

  • That is one awesome landing!!! Where did you get that cockpit and the sounds that go with it?

  • payware

  • turane turane pull up pull up tutane turane pull up pull up hehe lol tri to over shoot a but then shut down the engin

  • learn to spell turain

  • terrain

  • damn even though you had a double engine failure it looked like you was drunk flying that thing

  • Both things are true

  • That wasn't a landing, that was an arrival.

  • I know a game that´s callen PMDG 747! Is that the same game like which are you playing? Because i want to buy this game, too.

  • no it's flight simulator 2004

hes using the plane called pmdg 747

  • Nice job, check out my landing with the pmdg 737-700. I challange you to beat it!

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OU8vT7Y_K2o

  • :-O You make it with a cam recorder!! Better with FRAPS soft. Nice landing ;)

  • Haha i know! my computer dosent handel fraps, i get about 3-5 fps if im lucky.

  • yeah i just wanted to know, im new to the whole IFR thing with the pmdg, how do you find where your going without gps. How you set up on the glass display the little airports and the line guiding you to it!!? haha

  • You must setup the FMC. Its similar to GPS. Read the manual!!

  • allright, that damn manual will talke to much time, i was just hoping for a shortcut :P

  • what game is that?can u give me through the files plz by email plz.my email is "tappered_boy@hotmail.com"

  • the game is fs2004 file size is 1.7gb so no way to email it to u... thought u can use utorrent to download it fro free

  • don't be cheap, you have to buy it in a store.

  • lol... you slammed those tires pretty hard... but under the circumstances... a damned nice job!!
