@axwell69 Seating the bead onto the rim. You basically put the tires bead right next to the rim so air isn't able to leak out as fast as if it weren't next to the rim. You can skip that step and try soapy water as well.
Instead of using an air compressor, you can use an aerosol can (that burns).
Spray some flammable aerosol into the tube while holding a a small gap, ignite with a match or lighter. POFF. It inflates, but be ready to pump immediately after, to keep the pressure and get it sealed. Might take a try or two or more to get the correct air-fuel ratio.
And it's kinda of a cool way to inflate the tire :-)
@turbo944s Yeah I have heard of that way. I prefer an air compressor or just go crazy on a floor pump. My new 29er tubeless wheels actually beaded up fairly easy with a floor pump.
