  • Nice Copperhead and set up, regardless of the locale.

  • very nice.

  • U sure that's a phaeogaster? Definitely looks A.c.c to me. WC or purchased as A.c.phaeo? Just checking...

  • it was sold to me as a A.c. phaeogaster. the video dosn't show it but its tail is a dark green color. The southerns and the osage can look alot alike but you have to be able to see the tail to tell.

  • How does the tail distinguish them? I know their vent does for sure, I was just saying that looks very Southernish, not osage. The bands to me are stereotypical Southern. Osage bands are pretty distinct.

  • The osage copperheads have a dark green color tail, not the bright yellow like the juveniles. All of the osage copperheads i have ever seen have never had distinct markings they always resembly southerns.

  • All neonates to juveniles have bright green/yellow tails that fades to dark green. Where did the info come from that phaeogaster is the only one that has a dark green tail when older? All 5 subspecies have some residual amount of dark green on their tails. I guess maybe the osages here are just that distinct. They look nothing like typical southerns.
