But what year is this car bud? You're contradicting yourself with the the 1998-2000 year model WS.6 wheels but yet you have the "Last of the Breed" badge which was only offered in 2002.
@MrChevyBird It's a '99 good sir. I bought the car with the LOTB badge on it. If it said "2002" I wouldve taken it off, but to me it was more so an homage to Firebird's, as it said "1967-2002" on it. For the 100th time... the car had the following: LS6 intake, Torquer V3 cam, Stage 2.5 LS6 heads, 92MM nick williams TB, 92mm FAST intake, fast fuel rails, 42# FAST injectors, holley 255, UD pulley, the above exhaust and anything else I forgot. The car made 450 to the rear wheels. I'd say it's safe to say there's roughly 500 at the motor. Hence 500 *BHP* not RWHP.
But continue on with the BS, I have the dyno sheet. :)
@Jpitcher22 I listed the new cam by accident, this was before the Torquer V3. In this video the car had a Comp 224/224 cam on a 114LSA.. .581/.581 lift. The lobe separation is why the idle is so smooth. It's also an A4, and the idle is set higher than it would be on a 6 speed for drivability purposes.

@Quatermain98526 A Formula looks exactly like a V6 Firebird. Different front bumper, rear bumper, hatch (spoiler), different hood, and it does not have side skirts. Visually the only difference between a Trans Am and a WS6 is that the Trans Am doesn't have the Ram Air hood, and usually have 16" wheels. WS6's have 17's, and suspension upgrades I think
@Quatermain98526 I don't think there's a Camaro to compare to a Formula. V6/Z28 Camaro's pretty much look the same, which goes for the V6/Formula as well. Formula's usually have cloth seats, 2.73 gears and less options. As for the Z28, it all depends on what options were chosen when it was manufactured. It could have cloth seats, 2.73's, or leather and 3.23s. The closest Camaro to a Formula would probably be a basic Z28 without many options.

@MangoSmoothie16 ALL 93-97 Camaro's/Firebirds/Trans Am etc came with LT1's (unless you got a v6) and ALL 98-02's have LS1's. WS6 is a "performance" package with wheel/suspension upgrades and the factory "Ram Air" hood

@EVILWS666 It needs some work. The headlamp motors need to be replaced, it runs real warm though the temp gauge states the car is not overheating, the coolant light stays on, and it has lifter noise in addition to the shot trans. There's no real body damge though but the interior has seen better days. I have been told that my 240SX would be the more efficient and effective car to build on but I was convinced by someone close to me to keep the Trans Am. I've always wanted a '79-'81 Trans Am.
So you got about a 180hp gain from a cam and some bolt ons? What kind of head work did you have done and whats the duration and lift on the bump stick? EXH and INT. What kind of exhaust? Running on pump or what? Probably have stock pistons crank and rods? Sweet lookin rod.
@Justinfloogie I've answered it several times.. It's 500 to the crank, not wheels. There's about 410RWHP.. 500'ish before drivetrain loss. It's full bolt-ons, full exhaust, heads and small 224 cam in this video. A huge cam is going in at the moment.

I'm not crazy about a certain muscle car, but Mustangs are pretty much garbage, they are heavy, and handle poorly... short wheelbase with skinny tires, even the GT-500-KR.. that car is $85,000 and the Z06 can rape it, for under 80k.... Yep those 03/04 factory supercharged Mustangs are the only thing that Ford ever made for the right price. But a gt500KR for $80,000+ considering the lack of performance in that car, that price tag doesnt justify buying one. But buying a Z06 for $75,000 that beats the Cobra-KR is EVERY category in terms of performance, is worth the price you pay for that vette. (I wish they still made T/A's too)
For the naysayers, look up "2008 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 vs. 2008 Ford Shelby GT500KR" for proof.
@EVILWS666 The 96 and up Cobra's aren't too bad. They have similar engines to the 03/04 but without the Iron block and forged internals. The 96-97 have weak rods but actually have the best block there is for a mod motor. It's aluminum and very strong. They were cast by a company called Teksid which also supplies blocks for Ferrari. Get one of those, a 5.0 stroker livernois rotating assembly, some worked over C heads w/ custom grind cams and you'd be rolling up Terminators left and right.
Look up "2008 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 vs. 2008 Ford Shelby GT500KR" You will see what I was talking about. I'm not hating on Mustangs, its just a fact.

@EVILWS666 It needs some work. The headlamp motors need to be replaced, it runs real warm though the temp gauge states the car is not overheating, the coolant light stays on, and it has lifter noise in addition to the shot trans. There's no real body damge though but the interior has seen better days. I have been told that my 240SX would be the more efficient and effective car to build on but I was convinced by someone close to me to keep the Trans Am. I've always wanted a '79-'81 Trans Am.

So you got about a 180hp gain from a cam and some bolt ons? What kind of head work did you have done and whats the duration and lift on the bump stick? EXH and INT. What kind of exhaust? Running on pump or what? Probably have stock pistons crank and rods? Sweet lookin rod.

@Justinfloogie I've answered it several times.. It's 500 to the crank, not wheels. There's about 410RWHP.. 500'ish before drivetrain loss. It's full bolt-ons, full exhaust, heads and small 224 cam in this video. A huge cam is going in at the moment.

I'm not crazy about a certain muscle car, but Mustangs are pretty much garbage, they are heavy, and handle poorly... short wheelbase with skinny tires, even the GT-500-KR.. that car is $85,000 and the Z06 can rape it, for under 80k.... I prefer T/A's and Corvettes over the rest. I like your car alot. Check out my video of me filming my friend and I in his T/A burning out in front of the police on accident...

I agree with you completely on that. The ONLY mustangs I like at ALL are 03/04 Cobra's.. that's it. Other than that I'm F-Body's and Corvette's.

Yep those 03/04 factory supercharged Mustangs are the only thing that Ford ever made for the right price. But a gt500KR for $80,000+ considering the lack of performance in that car, that price tag doesnt justify buying one. But buying a Z06 for $75,000 that beats the Cobra-KR is EVERY category in terms of performance, is worth the price you pay for that vette. (I wish they still made T/A's too)
For the naysayers, look up "2008 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 vs. 2008 Ford Shelby GT500KR" for proof.

@EVILWS666 The 96 and up Cobra's aren't too bad. They have similar engines to the 03/04 but without the Iron block and forged internals. The 96-97 have weak rods but actually have the best block there is for a mod motor. It's aluminum and very strong. They were cast by a company called Teksid which also supplies blocks for Ferrari. Get one of those, a 5.0 stroker livernois rotating assembly, some worked over C heads w/ custom grind cams and you'd be rolling up Terminators left and right.

sounds good. I hope when I put the Heads and cam on mine after 1 Jan. I'll see hp numbers kinda like this. My cam is a little milder (218/226 .550/.550 115lsa) than yours so I'm hoping w/my polished and ported stage 2.5 Patriot 5.3L heads I'll get close to 460-470 bhp.
