Less is more. Just by going back to the basics, knowing your music--Didem can make all kinds of magical things happen. I kind of don't like it when people are all twisty and showing off. I know it's belly dance, but at times, people stack too much over something that needs so little just to show they are "seasoned dancers". A lot of American belly dancers have lost touch with themselves and the music. Always judging because some one is doing something different. Simple is better!!!

Didem is different, has his personal style, like a lot ... Certainly is not a classical dancer of Bellydance.

Not a classic? You'll see in 20 years. Charisma and technique together with a deep love of the dance puts her in the same book as Suheir Zaki as I see it.  The music is always 100% reflected in her movements. So is her enthusiasm.
