just a dip an easier way to get deadric hearts is to go to the companions guild building and you can steal one for free.

@13ennnnnnn Or if you do the Mehrune's Razor quest (the museum in Dawnstar thingy), those guards (2 come at you outside, 2 more inside the crypt or whatever) and each of those dremora lords have a daedric heart :]

There's an easier/ cheaper way to get a daedra heart, go into Jorrvaskr (the companions' home) go downstairs into the basement, and pick it up from the side table opposite Kodlak Whitemane :) Happy smithing.

The Daedric bow, may be the most powerful, but it is not the best bow.

The draw and fire speeds (as well as fire distance) are not the same with all the bows in the game. Once you take into account the rate of fire and get to a damage-per-second figure the Daedric bow is about the same as Glass and Ebony.

The best bow in the game that you can level up (the one with the highest DPS) is a tie between the Long Bow and Dwarven bow, although the Dwarven bow seems to have a greater range.

@richardtvaughan when you reach a decent level in archery you usually 1-shot the majority of enemies anyways, so the advantage of the speed of reloading arrows is virtually non existent, even giants and some dragons can be 1 shotted or killed with a few arrows making DPS unimportant, and I haven't even acknowledged sneak bonuses

like I said, DPS really only matters early on in the game when your level is low

@PresidentEvil11I'm not sure DPS is as completely irrelvant as you say. I'm level 60 playing on the hardest difficulty and I can tell I'm not one-shotting Ancient Dragons even with all relevant sneak and archery perks. The Daedric smithing perk is not worth it when a Glass or Dwareven bow does the same DPS. I would spend those perk slots on something far more useful. The *real* best bow in the game is in fact the bound bow spell as it has same power as Daedric but no weight.

@Dub33z It's a perk for archery, I think you need level 30 or 40 in it. When you get a perk after leveling up, look around for it in the archery section, and there's one that allows you to use block when charging an arrow to zoom in.

Guys you can get some ebony near the throat of the world, and a fancy pickaxe. Go to throat of the world and climb to the highest point in skyrim, and there is some rare ores and a unique pickaxe. Thumbs up so people can see.

if you want an extra ebony ore after three hits back a way or canclle mining and repeat the process another to times, this gives you 3 enbony ore's rather then 2, thumbs up so everyone can see this :)

@GoorseBoy I believe it is shrouded. It is from the dark brotherhood campaign. Classified as "light armor," so it doesn't have too amazing armor rating. But it is very useful for sneaking, archery, and close combat. Definitely my armor of choice.

It's Dark Brotherhood armour, mainly used for sneaking as it has low defence (and sneaking buff's).

The boot's/ Shoe's muffle sound (good against falmer), the chest/ breast armour resist's poison 50% (and some defence), the robes (for mages) fortify destruction 15 points, two hood's either boost bow damage 20% or sneak 25%, and gloves either double backstab damage or sneak one handed (almost the same).

Either join Dark Brotherhood or kill Astrid in "Whith friend's..."

I get at the moment 218 damage from my glass bow....i wanted to get the daedric which is obviously more powerful....I don't have the perk for daedric armors....I thought i was allowed to build the bow through an atronach forge (daedra heart + centurion core + black soul gem + ebony bow).....but it doesn't work. Do I need the perk, even with the atronach forge instead of a normal forge ??
