I know they lost the last game which eliminated them from any playoff spot, but the crowd that was there was pretty lame. I remember just standing in my seats and watch everyone leave before. Pretty sad.
Thats how you can tell that they aren't true Met fans. I remember staying at at game well into the night, and almost everyone around left. It shows that they were there just to be there.

Those of us who remained, however, were the true Mets fans. I've been with them since the 1962 team - through bad - good - bad - good ... etc.
