i have, and it's not that bad. i just think the end of a great match should involve something more than an elbow. also, the japanese stars win way too often when they wrestle american women. the promoters need to mix up the results a little to avoid stagnation

The elbow finisher is pretty par for the course in joshi, where some of the more well known finishers include a spinning backfist and a flying knee.

As for Japanese wrestlers winning more often than the Americans, only one Japanese star (to my knowledge, anyone feel free to correct me) has won the Chickfight tournaments, which are predominantly American wrestlers.

As for this particular match, Tamura was in the middle of one of her best reigns as the NEO/NWA women's champion, and having her lose at this point of her reign would have not made sense, especially considering all the great female wrestlers she had beaten through her reign. Not hating on MsChif, she's also a great wrestler, but Tamura was just too strong at this point to warrent giving MsChif the win.

true, this was before mschif becoming truly dominant in 2008-present. she holds the shimmer title, and two nwa titles. she's pinned awesome kong and has held the shimmer title for about two years, so a rematch would tear the house down

I loved how Mschif was dominated in the last few minutes of the match. Especially the knee to the face pin. Mschif is even hotter when she is defeated.

I got the chance recently to ask Chif about working Tamura. She said that despite the language barrier, she absolutely loved working the two matches they've had together and that Tamura was awesome!

@ManamiToyotafan I know right, Its not that either MSCHIF IS JUST DANGEROUS! look at her shes beaten kong, held the title perhaps longer than anyone, and shes very recilient. So yeah shes bad but a fan favorite aswell.
