  • Thru this testimony God spoke to me

  • Bravo! I'm a big fan of Way of the Master radio too! I'm sending this to a few friends at my church!

  • Hi Sarah. I just wanted to say that I thought your testimony was beautiful (not to mention your lovely voice), and it struck me as an act of a broken & contrite heart. THanks for sharing!

  • :) Thanks for commenting!

  • Oh yeah, thanks for the comment about my voice, but I really don't understand how you can say I have a lovely voice... that performance was just HORRID!!! Check out my music myspace, the recording there is much better. Just type Sarah Poulin in the music search.

  • Absolutely Beautiful. Praise God.

  • Sarah, praise the Lord for your testimony! Thank you for sharing it with me!

  • wow...interesting! I'm not sure what I should say! lemme watch it again! :)

  • One more; the theory I think best describes the creation of matter is that stars explode, as the only thing hot and high pressure enough to change hydrogen atoms (which leak out of black holes, I believe) into all the other elements.

  • You mentioned the creation of matter. You're right. Matter was created. And like I said, the uncreated can only create the created. Stars is matter, even heat is a substance. Atoms is matter. It's all matter. Something cannot come from nothing unless there is there is the uncreated. The uncreated is perfect, just, and holy, and He cannot stand sin. That is why we can't see him. If we did, we would die.

  • This breaks my heart.

Why is the bible the word of God as opposed to the corrupt and evil word of man?

Is it even remotely possible that a man decided to invent the entirety of Christianity (I call him "Paul") in order to convince lovely young people such as yourselves that you are so evil as to deserve hell, when in reality, it was they who deserved destruction?

Thanks for sharing, and I'm sorry to have lost you to the dark side.

  • You don't say a pen wrote a book, but the person dictating it did. God just used men as pens. The bible proves itself as the word of God using axiomatics.

Maybe you should read some of the things Jesus said, because Paul simply reiterated it, and used OT as well. Why is it that Jesus said in Matthew 5:48, "Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect," right after he was talking about God's law and expectations of us.

  • I don't believe, and I don't understand why you'll jump through all the hoops you are jumping through just to be counted among the sheep. Why adopt what someone else believes is right? Oh...I know, because of the absolute perfectness in the bible. I guess I just doubt it, and without the bible what else is there to Christianity?

  • Which we have failed miserably, thus deserving of hell -- which Jesus clearly spelled out as well.

So... who are you to decide who deserves destruction and who does not?

  • So... who are you to decide who deserves destruction and who does not?"

But, I'm not. I don't judge anyone. The subject of someone's ultimate destruction doesn't come up very often, ya know? I simply hang out with people like me and avoid those who are destructive to me.

God used men as pens...I guess I see it more as it says in Jeremiah 14:14, only I think that verse speaks to all religion, of all time. They simply invent a false dichotomy.

  • You're judging me. You don't even know me, and yet you called me "lovely", and think that I'm brainwashed. So, what do you mean "those who are destructive to me?" Jeremiah 14:14 is talking about the false prophets that were in the OT. So... what exactly is your point with that verse? Look at the context.

  • My point is that people deceive one another as a matter of course. And since no one is aware of what happens when we die, it appears apparent that Organized Religion is a mass deception. The bible has valuable truth in it, you just have to read it without the dogma. I'm not the first one to think of that, by the way. Thomas Jefferson agreed.

Lovely was a complement, it won't happen again. Most of what you did in the video was quote the bible; brainwashing flows to reason.

  • I quoted the bible because God's words are more important than mine. Worldly wisdom is foolishness in the eyes of God.

I am completely aware of what happens when we die. How many times must I state this? The bible tells us, and the bible is telling the truth, because it proves itself. Would you like to know how it proves itself? No, I didn't think so. You don't want to know.

  • I did, it passes. Good luck on your journey.

Just remember that no matter what someone tells you: YOU changed you and no one else. You deserve the credit.

  • "I did, it passes?" What's that supposed to mean? Let me ask again... everything is made up of matter. I'm guessing you're an evolutionist, perhaps a believer in the big bang. So where did the matter come from? From nothing?

Wow. That's kinda creepy. That sounds like something Satan would say. Only God deserves the credit. He is the reason I'm alive. NOT chance.

  • Did you watch the video? And did you seriously call me Satan?

At the moment, since you asked, I do believe that the theory of the big bang is the best explanation that man has for where he came from. And it's not the way it happened, because the theory has holes. But, it's the best we have. And probably parts of it are right. But it is foolish to state that I know without doubt that which cannot possibly be known.

  • lol, no, I didn't call you Satan. Of course you're not. What you said is just something that Satan would say. He wants us to think we're 'gods' and that we deserve all the credit. He wants us to be puffed up with pride.

You still avoided my question. Where did matter come from? How did something come from nothing?

  • How did something come from nothing; I do not know, and pretending to do so gives me nothing. It doesn't pay my bills, it doesn't teach me to love, it doesn't show me the moral from the immoral. Those things are left to me, with my free will, to decide.

I'm sure science is close to finding how something came from nothing, and I'll ooh and aaaah when they do. But that has little to do with real life.

  • We already know how something came from nothing. Only the uncreated (ie: God) can create the created. Even time must be created, therefore there must be something outside of time (ie: God). Things are far too complex to have come together by 'chance'.

  • These kinds of arguments absolutely necessitate comment censorship. LOL.

  • Which kinds of arguments?

  • My point: ALL speakers of an unseen and proven God are false. That's not to say they're immoral or evil, they're just perpetuating a falsehood.

You may have a better life as a Christian; but it breaks my heart to lose another mind to the virus.

  • Actually, Jesus doesn't promise a better life. He promises a life full of persecution. The apostle Paul was beheaded, others were crucified, skinned alive, thrown to lions, etc.

Let me ask you... where does matter come from?

  • One thing...you started off alluding to all that Jesus has done for you, but I only heard how you had changed yourself to fit what the bible expected. What exactly has he done for you in actions, not axiom?

  • I did not change myself. That was only the working of the Holy Spirit. Do you have any idea how much my own desires do not want the things of God? Do you have any idea of that kind of battle? When the world tells me I should follow my desires and do whatever I want? I did not change myself. God opened my eyes, and I submitted MY WILL to GOD'S WILL.

  • The Bible is the most authenticated book in all of written history (i.e. enough manuscript copies going back far enough to prove it's contents were not changed over the centuries). For it to be a fabrication, dozens of men who lived centuries apart who have had to conspire over a period of about a thousand years. And to what end? Most died horrible deaths because of their Christian beliefs. Would you willingly die for a lie that gained you nothing in this life?

  • Typical argument; talk about something that is irrelevant and "proove" it and thus, everything else must be true. The bible was copied well...is that what you're saying here? Uh, ok...does that make it true? No!

  • I was answering your question asking if it is possible that one man (Paul) invented (made up/lied) the whole Bible. No it's not possible.

My other point is that since he and all the other apostles (except John) died for their beliefs for no worldly gain, why would they die for these lies?
