@shanicred Click the arrow at the top (the one you clicked to go to 3d) and click the design. On the right you should see all your text settings. At the very bottom you will see a bunch of T's in various forms. On the very far left there is a bold T, and for you it should be chosen. Click it to turn it off, and then go make it 3D. I had the same problem.

Important note for everyone who is new to repousse. Make sure when you create a new document that your color mode is set to RGB. If not repousse will be grayed out and you will not be able to use it.
