I purchased one of these, But Unfortunatley was unable to use it due to it's hard plastic packaging.

This tool works great. We've used it for the last few years in the kitchen, garage and especially for opening gifts. My daughter gets those impossible to open dolls, and this handles every twist tie and plastic tab holding them down. By far the BEST to open that impossible plastic packaging. Bottle Opener is on the new one - glad they thought to add that.
