  • Narrator said that “Muslim invaders destroyed” Buddhist buildings in 12th /13th century. Those buildings would have been at least 5/6 hundred years old at that time. Even modern concrete buildings do not last that long.

    PEACE

  • Muslims Owe to lot to Humanity, I wonder when they would Truly realize that.

  • Islam did the same thing for the people of Malay. They changed our language, cultures and everything and left us backwards for hundred of years!!! This is a greater crime!

Ask the Malays, and you will know that Malays are colonized by religion. Every Malays couldn't leave Islam unless you want to face death penalty!

The saddest part is that, the Malays themselves don't fight for their liberty. They willingly subjugate themselves by evil Islam.

  • lesson for modern day buddhists, next time be able to protect yourself from annihilation.

  • In beginning of 2010 I visited ruins of Nalanda university. We had guide and he said that Muslim Sultan came to Nalanda and thought that it was a Palace because it was Vast and Giant. Even Othodox Hindus helped them to Destroy this magnificient Buddhist University. Thats past and Tibetans kept alive the Wisdom of Famous Masters.

  • @sacrface420 I agree with you.. Everyone hated the buddhists.. cuz they talk about love & equality. Muslims were always invaders & enforcers, helped by easily sold hindus

  • Martial arts where develped in Hunduism ,India

  • It's my understanding that Nalanda University is slated to re-open sometime this year. That will be really amazing if that happens. I sure hope fanatical members of the so-called "religion of peace" don't try to burn it down again!

  • hindus and buddhists shud come together and destroy islam once and for all

  • dirty muslim scum destroyed our great nalanda university fuckin shit muslims deserve to die

  • @thescorpionking2020 um, the Muslims who destroyed Nalanda University are already dead and have been dead for several hundred years. Now, we can only hope that when Nalanda University re-opens, that it will be left alone to prosper once again.

  • There is a prayer from the Qran: O Lord, enlarge my heart. It still touches me. As someone who pretends to practise the Buddhadharma, I would direct it to the Lord Buddha, and to my teachers. But I guess we all need to enlarge our hearts towards each other - I certainly do - and it is not the Buddhist way to judge others, is it? I think we are asked to appreciate all paths as meeting the needs of diverse sentient beings. Nalanda was harmed out of ignorance. May we all become wise and kind. :)

  • the Flame of Islam will dissapear by the Love of Buddhism...

In Islam.. Buddhist learned that everything is impermanent.. even the golden ages.. and the damage done by Islamic Fanatics can only be undone by Forgiveness and Love... that is an Eternal Truth..

  • Of course! everyone deserves and apology for these ravages.

  • @opensourcebuddhism

good suck the dick of muslim it may good for u.Retard they burned it and six month the total liabrary of all Indian religion book(buddhist,Hindu,Ajibak,Charvak,Tantraism,Jainism etc)all r destroy due to self fucker buddhist like u who not join hand with hindu to protect ur(as mention by u) religion.

  • @greatProphet1 You know, it is largely from Hindus that I get this vulgarity. Not from Jains or Buddhists. Why is that? It is a religion of the masses like few others. There are VERY intelligent Hindu scholars, but judging from my youtube commentators, many ignorant and vulgar types. We won't join hands in war with Krishna, not the classic Buddhist, but let's put one of your Hindu warriors up against a Buddhist Shaolin, Samurai or Ninja and let's see who wins! So petty this thinking....

  • @opensourcebuddhism

idiot I said about muslim not about hindus.Hindus never destroyed nalanda,Many Hindus give money and help to build nalanda in past,in present and in future.

Let not misrepresent ur idiotic thought with us.We recognised buddha as one of our lord and not as the idiot like u .propaganda of roman pop to destroy thebrotherhood of hindu(All relegion of India)

  • @opensourcebuddhism

Read about Batuo whos Hindu Indian and first abbot to shaolin & also search for Kalarippayattu,angkor-wat,Bali.

you westerners people first follow Indian religions & philosophy then brag about how one Indian religion is superior than other. same dirty christian-jew-muslim philosophy.yeahhh I am an atheist Indian my maternal ancestors were on of the first followers of Buddhism. My grandpa also donated pali-sanskrit books to Archeology department of India.

  • @opensourcebuddhism dude nalanda university was opened by hindus,by gupta emperor kumaragupta and they used to patronize both hinduism and buddhism and it was destroyed by turks in 1192

  • @opensourcebuddhism Don't act as if Buddhism is Far Eastern. It's an Indian religion, and for too long Chinese and Japanese people have been taking credit for it.

  • @opensourcebuddhism FYI Buddhism was created by a high class hindu, like most others.I don't get fools like you or that other guy who was goin at you!Ninja is not buddhist culture but Japanese shinto culture. You dont' even get these basic facts correct and have authority to call others fools?LOL..the average buddhist in today's India is a misled dalit who thinks he is taking revenge! and buddhist have become like missionaries in today's India. So the violent monks in sri lanka are'nt lowclass?LOL

  • @cillantro Harsh words Cillantro! Buddhism was created by a "hill-billy" so-called brahmin (really, Siddhartha was from the jungle Tibetan cultures of the Terai - the Tharu specifically). Ninja is part of mikkyo (esoteric, tantric tradition - google "Shingon") blended with Daoism and Shinto traditions. The "average" Buddhist is not just the Dalit outcastes - who chose Buddhism to escape the dread, oppressive caste system - as Buddha did. Not revenge, but equality is what they want.

  • @opensourcebuddhism BTW if Buddha was a brahmin why did he chose to escape the caste system?Because it was hardest on brahmins FYI.The dalits were outside the caste system FYI,dalit is not a caste.Brahmins lived in temple towns or cities so were not hill-billies(as much as you'd like to think).Siddhartha was a prince,a kshatriah so he had no reason to escape the caste system....it was sweetest to kshatriahs and vaishyas(traders). Its got the hue of evil only with british divide and rule policies.

  • @cillantro My Dalit freind told me that he actualy liked the British, because they would hug him.

Cetainly the Pali Canon speaks repeatedly of the Buddha and his followers rejecting the cast system which, like all forms of racism everywhere, was bad at the begining, bad in the middle, and bad at the end.

  • @milascave2 Sure,if the dalits loved India as much as they did the British, they would be huged by Indians too.Do not trust a british(english) man, especially when he has an empire. How do you think they ruled an empire of 200 million people with merely a 100,000 men?Almost all were conscripts from local armies! The british were kings at propaganda! This is one of those acts. The british starved to death 4 million people in Bengal and enslaved Indians to be sent to Fiji,Mauritius,Africa etc.Yeah right

  • @cillantro I'm not saying that the British rule of India was good. Colonialism/imperialism is not good. I am saying that the Caste system was already bad thousands of years before the British arived. Buddha said so in 500 BC, and it remains true today.

  • @milascave2 The caste system was mere division of labour.,Thats why majority brahmins were poor, while some dalits have ancestral property. This is difficult to understand,so let me explain. The Vedas say no human is inferior to another. Those with more rarer skills were revered in society because they were precious, and the others were just normal.Canada does'nt give work visas or points based immigration to garbage men does it?

The brits were the ones who created a caste divide to rule us all.

  • @milascave2 India was the only country with no history of Anti-semitism,slavery and religious intolerance. How could we have been cruel with the caste system? The caste system is a buzz word for so called backward castes coz it benefits them through free college seats which go for a million rupees otherwise and the politicians who earn vote banks.Just like appeasement of minorts. If so called lower castes realised they were never ill treated, who will they vote for?Real leader, not current scum!...

  • @milascave2 The caste system just ensured that everyone did their jobs keeping in mind their limitations and the larger good of soceity.Talents were gauged based on abilities, not birth. That is why there are black skinned brahmins and light skinned sudras.Later on when India's urban culture got destroyed due to invasions by ghazni, timur, ghori and others(not chronologically correct, but still)our cities were burnt to the ground.Indians took refuge in villages where petty chiefs reuled tyranically..

  • @milascave2 Caste system is nothing like your racism. It was meant not to segragate.Buddhist Japan still has burakumin and other outcasts. These people are still denied opportunities and can never leave Japan.Unlike our patriotic dalits who are given free education, jobs, healthcare so on free of cost regardless of his dad being a millionaire all at the cost of taxpayers,so that those dalits can then go to USA,UK or something and bitch about injustices in India. It is a fair system in India.LOL.cheer

  • @milascave2 Buddhism rejects all worldly actions and finds solace in some tree or mountain.Hinduism is a bit deeper. It realises this is a harsh world, one has to adapt to survive. You need people and professions, guilds and scholars to run this world. Not ascetics. That is the reason China rejected Buddhism after practising it for nearly 1000+ years.Buddha can talk what he wants.I am telling you that the caste system was harsh on everyone.Buddha was shallow enough to not get this?It is his followers.

  • @opensourcebuddhism I realise the reason behind why India has fallen when I look at you too bicker like kids.take a leaf out of Japan's book. They are not literalists and are very nationalistic.Unlike you who turns your back on your race they would support their people over a fellow buddhist like you any day.Indians need to unite regardless of religion.Afterall Budha/Hindu are all dharmic religions.Hinduism suffered alot more as by this time most of the pop had reverted to hinduism.just saying!pc

  • @cillantro You really have a racist attitude. This always surprises me from Hindus, when I see that religion as pretty tolerant. Also, the Dalai Lama and Tibetan Buddhism is now part of "Indian Buddhism". He is hardly the idiot you seem to think the outcaste Buddhists to be. You are wrong too: I have many Japanese Buddhist friends and advisors. They value my Buddhist perspective and those Buddhists, unlike you, are not in fact racists or nationalists.

  • @opensourcebuddhism shakya prince gautam of nepal saw spirituality in a different light & wanted the world to share his version. Those days there was no seperating forces & we all lived blissfully with one other.Buddhism had nothing to do with escaping caste tyranny as the caste system became tyrannical only after our beloved brits came & supposedly "civilised" us!I thought you were Indian, thats why I spoke about all dharmics uniting.Don't paint me as racist rev.james!BTW I am tolerant unlike u!

  • @opensourcebuddhism

todays many books r not find and the 60% of vedas and tripitak r abolished for this act of muslim and u suck the dick of muslim.Good Its good for u to attained enlightment.

  • @ opensourcebuddhism ... to who all will they apologize why only buddhist why not hindus jains sikhs parsis ????

  • @kanwer78 Very true, both Buddhists and Jains, especially- believed in ahimsa and they alike were slaughtered by the Muslim invaders.

  • The way Muslims persihed Buddhist heritages with agression..

Buddhism will perish islam with love..

  • i hate muslims. they destroyed all of indian history. i hate them.

  • don not hate anybody due to ignorance, then v r of no difference to them.

I have confident Buddhism will be the one and only religion that will survive in any kind in the future.

the world of IT has brought us many first hand info and real news about people and Buddhism seem to flourish and benefited by it...

  • i know i should not hate but it makes me so sad knowing that these idiots destroyed so many aspects of a great culture. long live the dharma.

  • if v r all well cultured, open minded, not fanantic and etc . they will no holy wars, jihad, mujahideens and etc happening more than a thousand years back.what happened in tha middle east and is a karma of religion ,fighting to b the real with one god by different thoughts b beliefs withouth respect of another opinions. buddhist never claim or force one to b................

    yeah! long live the dharma.........

  • I find it very hard not to resent the Muslim world for what Islam did to Buddhism. It was cultural and religious genocide. I am even more resentful when I see many in the Muslim world holding on to the crusades as if it happened yesterday. How can they act as if they are innocent victims in the world when their faith brought so much destruction. I feel a genuine apology from the Muslim world for what their ancestors did in India and elsewhere is long overdue.

  • i agree with you sohei,

you are right. the pope has apologized to the jews...this one is also overdue: an apology to the buddhist world from the islamic world. tragic...the losses....

    james

  • agreed

  • @sohei75 I agree Sohei...an apology from "Islam" to the Indian world would be deserved...but who shall offer that apology?

  • @sohei75 No point in holding resentments. against those. long dead Moslems. They have already been punished by theire Karma. You may even be one of them.

  • Indeed! As you should be....

    James

  • Proud to be indian

  • i m proud to be indo-tibetan buddhist.,
