The Pan American was really good. Beds and pillows sucked but the staff treated us like family.

i loved it. Im from Australia, i picked this area due to Pan American Hotel and its prices. Subway is easy 4 blocks walk, just catch R train into midtown or take Q60 bus which takes longer.

That part of Elmhurst is fine,the bad part is by Le Frak City,Junction Blvd,as well as south of Roosevelt Avenue from 82nd st on up.
