  • Рашка вас всех выебет блеать

  • how many "eehm" did anatasia say? she's unprecedented!

  • Russia 1 - 0 USA

  • Tos-pot

  • хм, прикольно спутники столкнулись.

  • funny how the US news never reported this

  • They havent? interesting.

  • It was immediately all over US news. You are simply retarded, or watching FOX

  • Not all satellites travel in equatorial orbits. Many are in polar or near-polar orbits like the Iridium satellite was. So when it collided with the Cosmos satellite, the impact was at nearly right angles -- a "T-bone" collision, if you will.

  • Right I see, sure. Still it seems an incredible coincidence for two such large objects to collide so. Surely they were supposed to be tracked? And what are the odds of such a collision by sheer chance?

  • O.k., I understand that satellites travel very fast in relative terms (about 17 thousand MPH). My point was that they are travelling in the same direction, at the same speed. Yes, they could possibly rub up against each other (side swipe), but it's not like they could have a head on collision resulting in immense amounts of debris that would not burn up before it ever hitting the earth. Maybe yes, maybe no. Maybe 'they' are playing their star wars games wishing they could prevent the 2nd. coming

  • What a crock! Hey folks... we're not mushrooms down here. Don't feed us crap and keep us in the dark. Satellites 'float lightly' in space. They are not traveling at high speeds capable of horrific collisions that produce hundreds or thousands of pieces of debris. What's really going on? Certainly no earthling would be so foolish as to challenge advanced beings now would they? Aggression and arrogance will get you nowhere. God rocks and rules with an iron scepter. Don't mess with the angels. Love

  • yes i think that after what you just posted, you really are living under a rock because you know nothing about satellites other than they are above you. don't point the finger until you have done the research

  • Future kids science book will say,

    "What orbit around earth?

    The moon and debris!"

  • America will bury you!

  • "AmericanAirlinesRule" - hahahaha what a name !!!!!!!!!

  • antonvoski why are you teasing americans?

  • A few days previous iran & north korea launched a communications satelite into space. Now we have this bogus story of a collision. The usa shot down the iranian and s korean satelite.

Satelites cant collide. When you put things into orbit they are all going in the same direction. in their own orbits. this is the first time in history of satelites colliding. This is a false news story. the us shot that satelite.

  • probably US are good at covering up like the 911 they bomb their own country so that they could go to war, When there is war there is money imagine what greed can do. i dont buy those crap that osama did it they cant even cath the guy comon we are not stupid american did stupid things again. theyre good at it

  • the beginning of star wars :D

  • impossible for satelites to collide. They would have to be going in opposite directions...... Who the hell would put someeting into orbit the opposite direction of everything else.? the us shot down a iranian and s korean satelite that was put into orbit 5 days previous to this story.

  • it doesnt to be coming from opposite direction to collide, they didn't say it was head on collision.

what the fuck satellite are you talking about? the satellite shot down by the us was their own military satellite that has malfunctioned not an iranian nor n.korean..

can you give credible links of your stupid comment?

  • wtf are u trying to get to? the US sacificed they're own expensive, operational, commercial satellite to destroy a russian satellites that hasnt been operational in 10 fucking years...u have a head, try using it sometime.

  • I just hope this isn't a cover story and that 2 large satellites did in fact collide.

Just think of the look on the faces of the NWO pukes if they see a chain reaction of space debris destroying everything they put in orbit, AWESOME!!! No TV, no more GPS guided warheads on inocent civilians, no more government satellites spying on citizens, and f*#k satnav quite frankly. IS(i)S can join the rubbish pile as well.

Ahh, if only it were true.

2012 evolution of humankind here we come!

  • Hey u can stfu! America will not fall cuz of a recession, becuz we have a great president in office and millions of people worldwide backing him up. We love burgers n fries w/ soda, its our culture u fool. And it's not spelled Amurican, it's American. And u don't own the space, nobody does, it's open for everyone who lives in this universe.

  • i went to space and i can breathe dont believe me? well go up and try be sure to get ready to get sucked by the vacum of space :) reply if im a retarded spaz >:)

  • fuck space

  • fuck the world lol

  • that was fantastic .... haha you have be rolling on the floor right now never thought i would see something that funny hahaha ... HILARIOUS

  • the American satellite is owned by nvidia , did i heard well ?

  • no iridium

  • Iridium, not Nvidia

  • fuck Canada

  • What are the odds?lol

  • pretty good actually. Thats a highly traffic orbit.

  • 0:31, note the economy failing in the corner. Sigh.

  • man, i'm hungry.

  • wow, i'm spaced out

  • haha that reporter is pretty shitty

the satellite uhhh hit the uhhh other satellite and debris uhhh is in the uhh thousand orr uhhh hundeds

  • Well with all that crap people just carelessly fire up into space and then leave there this was bound to happen...

  • the reporter in new york sucks. she keeps "uh"-ing

  • now, those particles are flying shrapnel, ready to destroy other satellites...

  • bad reporter....

  • yeah ..but she's kinda cute

  • There are many thousand satellites + other shit flying around not functioning in space. WHY ?

Because it costs more to get them down than up.

Yeah..it costs more to bring those satellites down, so they leave them there as shit polution on the ground.

  • Should of had Space Geico the only way to fly.

  • two satellites collide? finally that happened

  • No fucking way...crazy... I mean holy shit satellites are fucking tiny compared to the zone they fly in. Two meeting, even without watching and preventing such things, would be next to impossible. This shit is crazy to say the least... ^.^

Just remember Russia, we've been buddies for a while and it's been good, yes? Let's not get in a tiff over this =P

  • I would sometimes wonder if this ever happens. Now I know.

  • lol sucks for the iridium company

  • she didnt say who owned the russian satellite. Maybe a spy satellite?

  • Vanessa>Douchterd>Vanessa>Douchterd>Vanessa>Douchterd>Vanessa>Douchterd>Vanessa>Douchterd>Vanessa>Douchterd>Vanessa>Douchterd>Vanessa>Douchterd>Vanessa>Douchterd>Vanessa>Douchterd>Vanessa>Douchterd>Vanessa>Douchterd>Vanessa>Douchterd>Vanessa>Douchterd>Vanessa>Douchterd>Vanessa>Douchterd>Vanessa>Douchterd>Vanessa>Douchterd>Vanessa>Douchterd>Vanessa>Douchterd>Vanessa>Douchterd>Vanessa>Douchterd>Vanessa>Douchterd>Vanessa>Douchterd>Vanessa>Douchterd>Vanessa>Douchterd>Vanessa>Douchterd>

  • tonight at about 8;45 pmt i watched the space station appear and dissapear 3 times did any one else see this?? i wonder if some debris hit it.

  • Something RT hasn't reported in detail yet is that the Russian satellite in this case has finished its lifespan and was deactivated, while the US satellite was active and in use, and had the ability to maneuver, if necessary. Those in charge of "Iridium" satellite in US were supposed to actively monitor its course and any potential collisions, so they either didn't monitor it at the time or ignored what they've observed. No loss for Russia here but a big loss for United States.

  • How was it a "big loss" for the US, idiot? it wasnt even a government satellite it was owned by a private business. It was a loss for the company not the united states. The russian one was prob an old soviet spy satellite that wasnt useful anymore.

  • Putin has been itching to make some space junk ever since China and the U.S. shot down their own satellites last year..He didn't want to be left out!

  • it is extreme rare event !!!!!

  • and the cold war 2 begins

  • Bloody symbolic!!! Russians and Americans should start comunicating and coordinating their moves!!!

  • The website cryptogon has an article about the collision. I tired to copy and paste but fascist youtube stopped the information. It is the 6th story on the home page.

  • Google 'Kessler Syndrome'

  • Bloody symbolic!!! Russians and Americans should start comunicating and coordinating their moves!!!

  • wow i wonder what that russian satellite was doing up there if it wasnt operative for 10yrs, hmm lets see launched 1993, inoperative in only 6yrs (2009-10=1999), what a crapy satelliate, that company should sue russian satelliate company or government...for having a non operative satelliate in space doing nothing...

  • yeah, because people will really go up into space to remove old satellites.... idiot.

  • We crashed american stelt, ''invisible plane'' ... Serbia rules.

That garbige was finally ended somewhere in Russia.

  • The collision of private and public interests was bound to happen. Global stock market meltdown, loss of social security, the full magnitude of this clash will not be known for many years. You man have to maneuver your position somehow. No rules of the road anymore. Thomas G. reporting from yvr ca

  • The ISS aside, such a mess creates a problem for all existing and future satellites, and all space missions for the indefinite future. Nobody files flight plans for these birds?

  • sounds like a top secret cover story. Probably had the DNA of Princess Diana and they were cloning her

  • I never say this, but;

    lol

    America accidentally space pwnd

  • Too much crap in space..

  • First Space Vehicle Crash! And it was not caused by drunk drivers.

    Statistics fail on this one.

  • Weird, but very interesting.

  • OMG THE DEBRISSSSSSS

  • So why did the 10-year defunct satellite fall out of its parking orbit?

That's the real question. There are lots of such derelict objects, closely coordinated between all space-capable agencies, government and private.

    US/Russian, irrelevant.

  • OH YEAH FUCK MUHFUCKIN RUSSIA WHO CARES JAMES BOND SPYIN ASS FUCKERS BLOW all dey shit outta da sky lmao to bad so sad bye bye satalite go boom LMAO!!!!

  • even if they did it on purpose idc cuz russia is wack even if they had our money and all dat they russians are fuckin.lame there food there lang i mean we outdo them in everything that goes there bishes cant even be compared to a black girl from the usa, na im not gonna do yall like dat even our white girls look better.why are yall even a country they dont even know why..when u think of russia u think of white people mad at other white people cuz they want to live in america with us i say NOPE!

  • Have you ever seen a Russian chick they are bomb

  • Have u ever been abroad brainwashed zombie? lol if u go someday, u'll see and get to know many things u NEVER KNEW before in ur 'castle', hello to the CNN and Fox news~ from Russia with love.

  • good america blow der shit out the sky ...anyther way too look at it maybe its a sign of a war againts the two

  • you werent listening it was a bad ruccian sattelite that ran into a good US sattelite its not beneficial to any one to have tons of debris orbiting the earth because then we wont be able to go to space

  • What the hell are you talking about...lol all of your posts look like gibberish.

Russian satellite or not. It was bound to happen. If it wasn't operational they may have saw it coming.

Sucks for the phone company though. BAHAHA

  • lol god ll i here is ahh

    ah

    ah ah

    ah

    and ahh

  • usa is really dirty country.

only russia stat can destroy fuckin usa.

    so attacked russian satellite.

and usa wants to isolate russia from

    the world.

  • wow you have know idea what the fuck your talking about you lowlife gook the us is the most powerful country inthe world fucking we bailed your countrys ass out of getting fucked in the ass by your neighbor people like you should be out in a oven asshole

  • The US dont give afuck about anybody but themselfs; The world dont need you motherfuckers to stick your cocaine noses in everybodys bussines;Fuck go away;Stay the fuck out;Evil fuckers.

  • I really hate people who disrespect the US especially foreigners like u..Ur saying that USA is dirty, well dumbass u need to open ur eyes a lot wider cuz America is a beautiful country..Where the hell did u get the information that the US wants to isolate Russia! Also Russia can not destroy the USA, we have too much power and allies. The world depends on us as we rely on them too. So u can go back to ur shithole and live ur life believing that the US is dirty cuz really ur just fucking urself.

  • i remember the anime "palnetes".

    fuckin space debris

  • if you own "the space first" pick up your broken , out of order , satellite pieces!!!! ha ha ha ha...

  • This coming from someone whose country can't produce a good drone and has to buy from Israel. So when is the last time Russia touched Mars or the Moon for that matter?

  • destroy a Russian stat and call it an accident. lololol bold move tho now the us and russia have one less sat. they should of tried launching a panel and said that i just broke off.

  • what was American satellite doing over Siberia?

  • Google: What type(s) of orbits are necessary for GPS?

  • Oh my God, you must not have any understanding of how satellites work, do you?

  • i think it belonged to google if im right not sure

  • Accident my arse..........

  • a bag with tools is additionally

    on the way around.)

  • Next 5 years only Russian space ships will transport american austronauts in "your air-space")) Clown...

  • Can't we just get beyond this stupid fighting for once. USA and Russia work together on the space station and in the future and they each bring their brilliance and hard work to it. You can be sure the astronauts and cosmonauts are not calling eachother clowns or commies, etc.

  • Government school graduates, locked into group-think.

  • Correction, 500 miles above siberia

  • looks like USA intentionally destroyed that russia satellite

  • You didn't listen very close did ya...

  • Russian satellite was out of order for 5 years.

  • Maybe just the opposite? in comparison with american one, russian satellite was out of work :P Don't ya fly over Siberia again!

  • You suck and your country of fat, stupid and ugly people... Always and everywhere

  • It was a defunct satellite - space garbage that caused this crash. The world needs to put together a treaty about obsolete space objects. They need to have a self destruct function, otherwise we are going to need space trashmen in a couple of decades. Think about it: what would it be like if people just left old cars in the middle of the highway? We cant let Earth's orbit become a scrapheap.

  • It's just a mess up there if two satellites can actually collide. There's so much stuff up there.

  • Once you leave the upper atmosphere there is no air space, just as you don't own the air above your house.

  • Or was it a purposeful downing of a satellite as an offensive system test?

  • my sentiments exactly

  • Very suspicious.

Both the U.S. and Russia have computers dedicated to mapping every scrap of junk orbiting the planet even paint chips.

The odds of two satelites colliding like this, billions to one if not even worse odds.

  • Do you seriously believe anyone on our earth is able to monitor every piece of junk up there?

    I sure dont.

Maybe it will be possible in 100 years or so. That is if we havent destroyed ourselves before. ;)

  • I doubt every fleck of paint, but we are talking about two very large satellites - surely someone was monitoring them? I havn't done the maths, but what are the odds of two large satellites colliding by chance I wonder?

  • Highly unlikely, as it wouldnt be a very useful offensive weapon. It would take too long to destroy a significant number of targets this way. Perhaps it could work as a secret weapon of attrition, but you can hardly expect to keep such crashes secret, especially if they occur regularly.

  • Just asking.

The Russians could have planned this as a test of a ground-based particle beam or satellite interceptor missile, and then covered it up by also destroying a nearby-defunct Russian satellite.

The Iridium satellite is an old one, and could have been carefully chosen as one that would not provoke a big response from the US.

But the capability of destroying a satellite, once developed, could be used against US military satellites in the future.

    Just interesting conjecture.

  • bro the chinese already destroyed a satellite with a missle last year, while the americans and soviets agreed not to do this LONG ago, maybe in the 1960s, because of the space debrei. You don't need the James Bond "GOLDENEYE" or anything like that to destroy a satellite. Everyone has this technology NOW, and yes it could be used in world-war, but it is a slippery slope... like Einstein said, we'll be fighting with sticks & stones

  • This could be a test of some new anti-sat. offensive system. If the Russians have a new system, they would have to test it, wouldn't they? It was above Russian airspace...

Hey, I'm just making conjecture. I'm just asking. I'm not making some conspiracy theory. I don't know what really happened.

Don't you think that this is an interesting question?

I'm stocking up on sticks and stones.

  • Damn...!

    That's a gorgeous blond...

  • bad news more space junk
