  • I had this surgery done in November. How long before you expect your patients to get back to running? How long before they have no pain/inflammation in the tendon? I had stage I TPD.

  • @jigga7405 I would suggest waiting for 10-12 weeks before beginning running. I would start out walking then ease back into running. Best wishes.

  • Yes, for Stage 2 TPD i usually do a Calcaneal osteotomy, FDL to PT transfer, Lapidus and Gastroc Recession. Hope this helps.

  • @padeheer If lateral column lengthening is done how much does it takes for your patients to get back running again?
