Great band, drummer doesn't really do it for me live... neither does the new drummer! The current one speeds up too much in this video, and most other clips i've seen on here... loses it's swing too easily, studio wise he sounds incredible though!

it's psychedelic music! these guys are influenced by sixties psych rock/prog and jazz, it's freeform.. it's not conventionally tight but it's not supposed to be, like Ginger Baker or Mitch Mitchell or Keith Moon, where the drumming takes its own melodic path.

i think the band is really not tight. just listen to the drums at 1:25. The guitarist and bassist are also very untight.

Om så ej är fallet tror jag att du saknar grundläggande kunskaper om livet i allmännhet men om rytmik i synnerhet. Dungen är snortighta. Jag tänkte särskilt på bassisten, att h-vete vad tight men ändå psychedelia-sväng. Trummisen är tom lite för exakt i sin stil för bandet.

Really cool that they're singing in swedish on a big show like this. The fact they CAN do that proves how huge they are.

Just bought their "Ta Det Lugnt" 2xLP. One of the best swedish albums during the last decade.

It's really hard to get a good idea of this band... just by watching these live clips. You have to see them live. Know that it's one man recording the majority of the tracks on their albums. Gustav Ejstes is a bloody genius. I only use genius... because I mean it. All of their albums are amazing. I recommend 4, Ta Det Lugnt, and Stadsvandringar. Great way to start. DUNGEN RULES!!! STAY UNDERGROUND DON'T FALL INTO THE MAINTSREAM TRAP!!!

@BearBeards: I'll never forget when I saw this on Conan. Blew my mind. If the U.S. record companies didn't have their heads so far up their own asses we could have had a "Swedish Invasion" here with all the great bands that were coming out of Sweden around 2005 or so. The Caesars had a hit with "Jerk It Out" and that should have alerted everyone to what was going on....Dungen, Mando Diao, The Blue Van, Soundtrack Of Our Lives, etc. Missed opportunity. But we the fans know better and that's good
