This game is the 5th GH engine made. The reason they're calling it 5 is because WT was essentially GH4. They gave it a different name because of the full band thing.

Yes, it is true Harmonix made both RockBand and Guitar Hero, but Harmonix only made GH1 & 2, then sold off the name to Activision, and then went on to create a much better game in Rock Band. Activision then took the idea of a full band from HMX and made GH4 and on. Also becoming very greedy and releasing several games every 3 weeks.

The 1st game (amazing for its time) because no other game was like it 2nd one cool/ok but now its just LAME, hate all you want but they need to change somthing besides graphics and flashy lights. I have every single guitar hero and both Rock Bands, but this, I will never buy. Horrible songs, hate the new look, implements features already done in Rock Band. Psh, Rock Band Beatles FTW.

Guitar Hero did NOT steal ANYTHING from Rockband, or vise versa. god, I hate ignorant people like you. Both games are made by the same company, Harmonix. Therefore, its not stealing, because, how could someone steal from themself?

Harmonix gave Activision Guitar Hero after Guitar Hero: Rock the '80s. They moved onto Rock Band. Do a little research before you call people ignorant.

Yes, it is true Harmonix made both RockBand and Guitar Hero, but Harmonix only made GH1 & 2, then sold off the name to Activision, and then went on to create a much better game in Rock Band. Activision then took the idea of a full band from HMX and made GH4 and on. Also becoming very greedy and releasing several games every 3 weeks.
