That's not really true. Most major wars were over conquests. Whether Hitler invasions, American and Russian quests for oil, or "my god over your god", and building empires before they fell. And I won't have an opinion about Israel except that it's Hitler's fault for Israel existence and the violence that are happening there are mostly by Palestinians nationalists.

I'm a musician, and musicians collaborate together as do others. I've played with Russians, Mexicans, Americans, Costa Ricans, Irish, straight, gays, christians and atheists and it worked. The only 'club' we belonged is... I guess the neformaly would be the closest word. And most of us are pretty educated and well read and more or less peaceful people.

And to the topic: Mamonov to the Russian music is more important than punk movement in the west. And I don't know how much you know about global music, but that's pretty important. Where Sukachev is just a jester who I do respect to a degree, and is one of the jewels of what musically Russia has to offer.
