Very nicely done; thanks for posting. To me there's such poignance in Marilyn's remembering Jane's friendship--I don't think she found much friendship or understanding in many of her colleagues and peers during her heyday. I've often wished the two women had had a chance to work together again.
In MM's last interview, about a month before her passing, she mentioned how wonderful Jane had been to her during the making of the film, "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes." They were a GREAT team!
Ya I read that about Jane too. Marilyn would be so nervous in her dressing room and it took her forever to come on set cause of her nerves. Jane would go in to talk and calm Marilyn's nerves to make comfortable on set. You just gotta love Jane Russell!
