No, no long hoods. Because long tractor limits the length of the trailer, on a semi. With a truck&trailer combination there's no big difference.
You see, in US they drive trucks for a passion, we Europeans drive them for a reason: bigger the cab, less payload=less money. No wonder you pollute so much, 2 pallets on a 53ft trailer.
