By the end of the war, the sacrifice of lives from North Carolina totaled just shy of all other Confederate State casualties combined.

I wish I could give my life for a cause as just and holy as theirs.

@ConfederatePatriot Then I will always hold NC in great esteem. BTW, I have ancestors from North Carolina on my mother's side, Moores, they were in Charleston, SC too in the colonial period.

Very nice, love our National Flag up top, and the Old North Flag has beautiful colors and design. I was pleasantly surprised to see the flag being accurately displayed in some scenes of the movie Cold Mountain, if you ever have a chance to watch it. Anyways, I envy your flag pole, buddy!
