  • I love watching the people get drawn into the demo - @1:32 lady shaking her head to a question to the group. I'm not criticizing since I get drawn into these myself.

  • @Gorwel84 that was not a good choice of time to post, the lady was completely done shaking her head. You should have used a time more like 1:26 so then we could hear the question which triggered her reaction.

  • it would be kind neat if one could see you from the front

  • Interesting video but the ambience is lacking. Dewd, where was this recorded--the frozen aisle at the Piggly Wiggly? LOL

  • @dearyogini Yes, I agree the ambience isn't quite there. This was at a Sam's Club. They have a warehouse feel to them.

  • DUDE! What's the purpose of your gloves if you're touching your head and mic!!!!

  • @rachlmh Good point, they are really there because it's Sam Club's policy. They just care if you wear them.

  • You touched your head AND a poison (the cleaner) while you were handling food!!!!

  • Ha! You obviously have never worked in a restaurant kitchen. If you did, you would probably never eat out again.

  • @funkyjones Very good point. Just cause you can't see what's going on behind the doors at restaurants doesn't mean it's clean or sanity. I don't even think most chefs or cooks wear gloves.

  • I bought my Vitamix at Costco and use it every day. Great machine.

  • Me Too!

  • Yes, some how we are the only species on earth to drink another species milk. How that evolved, I am not exactly sure. I am not telling people to stop drinking cow's milk or other animal milk but at least take a moment to think about why you are drinking it. Also, this video was shot at a Sam's Club in Ohio and not a Costco although they both look similar. :) Thank you for ALL of your comments!

  • Eat a Raw organic Vegan Diet

  • @ACEBAKER911 YES!!!

  • @rawkitchen The calcium in cow's milk is actually incompatible for human body synthesis; though many plant based foods contain calcium which is easily metabolizd by the human body.

  • @ANGELBLU2042 Thank you for stating the truth. It's astounding how many people are unaware of this. Allergies, colds, viruses, ear infections, congestion would all decrease with the elimination of cow's milk.

  • @rawkitchen Not to mention how it contradicts itself. It is too acidic and is bad for our teeth. While we need calcium for our teeth and bones. There, contradiction with milk. Greens are the answer.

  • I love that you mentioned that cow's milk is not meant for human consumption. No bullshit, straight up. It's funny how obvious that is but majority of people don't even question it. Good job!

  • @mrjimmypayjo It makes sense. How often do you see chimpanzees sucking on cow's nipples? They get their calcium from greens!

  • i had no idea they sold these at costco! i should've looked. i bought mine same price from the website- a reconditioned model with a 7yr warranty. course i would've preferred a new one in black...

i'm so excited to get mine, should be any day now!

  • Actually, the one sold at Costco is a older model and the reconditioned one you bought was a Vita-Mix 5200 series which has improvements over the Costco model. Oh, it's also availible in black.

  • Hello,

I am a VitaMix sales demonstrator... when the 5200 came out in January we began selling them at Costco and no longer sell the 5000 machines at Costco.

I'm not sure where you got your information but it is incorrect - just wanted to let you know.

Once I had a lady in my audience argue with me that, "that HAS to be a VitaMix knock-off at that price". She wouldn't believe me but luckily, another customer in the audience verified that it was INDEED a VitaMix!

  • @agapemom What was incorrect? I only sold the 5200 cause I started right when they were came out.

  • @rawkitchen I was replying to pteteryu65's comment, but my reply ended up as a stand alone comment. Sorry for the mix up. peteryu65 is the person who made the erroneous claim that you were selling the 5000 and not the 5200.

  • I use mine 1-3 times every single day. It is my most favorite kitchen item. The things I can sneek into my nephews smoothies are amazing. Soups, Hummus, Juices, Smoothies, Ice Cream...I LOVE IT!!!

  • I bought my vitamix at a cosco demonstration and I swear it changed my life and is the most used appliance that I own. I literally use it three times a day and have stopped using my microwave and the oven. I credit the vitamix for helping me make great smoothies that attributed to me losing 80 pounds and going from a pretty unhealthy person to someone who is now thin and in shape. If there is one appliance that I could not live without this is it.
