  • What the fµck religion has to do with street fighters...

  • I find it pathetic that religion is being spoken and argue on a video thats about a video-game about fighting; which, by the way it has no religion in it.

Man, these guy have no life to be posting bullshit arguments

  • Who sings this does anybody know?

  • DBZ is okay, and the original Naruto was funny as hell with some awesome serious moments. New series is okay, not amazing though. What I can;t get into is Bleach, but I don't insult it because I don't like it. Grow up, all of you.

  • Oh yeah. Japanese version is actually bearable and good.

  • this is A song without much character.

Unlike SF2 which the songs are so distinctively nice (e.g Chun Li, Ryu, Balrog, Vega's theme and even the intro songs are just amazing)

Did human's creativity die after 1993???

  • @nayanaran Human creativity boomed after the year 2000 with the emergence of incredible technology.

  • must agree...japanese version kicks ass!!! :)

  • @clemenza1234 The song fits 100%. I was impressed when I watched the pretty cool intro. On a good sound system it feels like a movie.

  • @clemenza1234 you just earned yourself a thumbs down...

  • Go home and.... listen to the Japanese version.

  • I prefer this than the eng ver.

  • I like both versions. Some passages sound better in English, some in Japanese.

All in all I like the English VOICE better. Has a bit more aggressiveness behind it, I believe.

  • @DiplomaticGoomba

Search "vidtomp3" it'll download the song and convert it to an mp3 for you to download.

  • anyone know how id find a copy of this version of the song every time i search indestuctible / exile the next door i keep finding the english version

  • /watch?v=yKt08oja0KQ

For those that do not like the voices for the American and Japanese versions of this song, just shut listen to the instrumental.

  • @ron4ldinho I like songs with voice better >.<

  • This song is really just a J-Rock song that capcom bought off this band Exile and they got a singer from the states to make an english dub for the us/eu version

  • I think this game is racist towards white americans. I mean , they added another U.S character. . . and look at him!!!

  • epic song ;D

  • Mortal Kombat and Street fighter FTW!!!!!!:D

  • @KenpachiRules84 Mortal Kombat vs. Capcom?

  • @robokilla586

  • worst song ever

  • if this song would be in high school musical would you guys still love it?? just asking... I HATE HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL!!!

  • @Daniel96Z Yes, but I'd hate high school musical for using it

  • it would be cool if the u.s. and japan just formed 1 country dont you think?

  • Its laughable, this is supposed to be the japanese version yet you can hear scraps of english parts. Thats so fuckin typical.... I rarely get to find any pure japanese lyrics in a song

  • @buntado6 That's because Japan thinks English is cool, they want often want a few English parts.

  • LOL LOL LOLOLOL Jap Version

  • I have listen both version of this song and I find them both being very good. It really makes me wanna play some fighting game. It's even good workout music.

I really like japanese version, since I find japanese language somewhat cool, but english version is good to listen also.

Oh and if it interest I'm from Finland.

  • fk americans they should make jap and European characters instead. there would be more money to be made instead.

  • It's funny and rather racist that you'd refer this as the Jap version.

  • @Xephon0930

Shortening "Japanese" is offensive now? Jap to Japanese is like Brit to British. Not racist in the slightest. It can be said negatively, but it's not a slur by any means. Only exception to this would be "Paki" but I won't go into the history of that one. With your logic "ENG" in video titles is discrimination. Darn latest wave of kids with Internet access ignorant posts -- OH NO, AGEISM!!

  • @WaChowPow If "Jap" and "Brit" aren't racist, there's no reason "Paki" should be. What, is it because they're Middle Eastern and we should all respect them and their non-existent god? Fuck that? I'll call those terrorists whatever the fuck I want. They don't rule the world as they believe. I'll die before I'm governed by some suicidal religious fanatics who believe death brings harmony to the world. If you respect them solely because of their heritage, you should be ashamed.

  • @Starwind18020

Oh hey, look. A whiny little kid who posts shitty DBZ videos and jerks off to Naruto hentai wants to join in the discussion. You're a joke if you think everyone to the east is a religious nut planning your demise. Good job missing the point, having no frame of reference or real opinions and labelling entire groups of people different to you as killers. THAT is racism - branding a whole group of people as inferior or evil through your own ignorance and fear.

  • @WaChowPow hey man DBZ is freakin badass. naruto is a piece of shit though XD

  • @WaChowPow "Who posts shitty DBZ videos and jerks off to Naruto hentai." You labelled him, so although he's in the wrong, you're in the wrong too.

  • @Starwind18020

Oh, and good job assuming the minority of extremists follow the same religious codes and principles as the majority of people in the Middle East, whilst displaying extremist views of your own religion. Not that you're a genuine Christian or have been notably upstanding. "If you respect them for their heritage you should be ashamed." See, comments like that show you up for the underage, easily-influenced kid that you are. Read your comments before you post and rant, brat.

  • @WaChowPow Aaaand you just destroyed that kid.

  • @Starwind18020

I totally agree. For example people from usa are dangerous religious scum who raid other people funerals and discriminate gay people etc. Just like Westboro baptist church

    Notice the sarcasm

  • @Jin6107 i think what they meant was that because american's brought most of the copie's it's because of them that sequal's were made

  • the dubs in any african language xDDD oh man that would be really cool!! no im not african

  • hmm i find japanese BGM better,as far as i experienced all these years, american dubs in anime totally ruined the sounds...so yeah jap audio ftw

  • this version is better, english ver sounds queer and sexual -0-

  • great song

  • Comment removed

  • It's the Best. This song is great, and this Game is amazing.

  • 「Street Fighter 4 - Music: Theme (jap)」

  • Japanese suits this song better, imo.

  • Yea, I agree

  • i prefer the english version

  • This song sounds both in both versions.

  • Most Americans find Japanese dubs better.

Most Japanese find American dubs better.

i think different countries find foreign languages a lot cooler to listen to their own.

  • you are wrong, japanese likes american dubs better, when it comes to AMERICAN GAMES, and americans ppl prefer japanese dubs in anime

  • I'm not from the US.

    I'm not from Japan.

    Japanese version is better.

  • @TheVGMshow obviously its the original

  • @Shutkenyuken

First of all "dub" means putting foreign language audio over original language media. Second of all, there is no such thing as "American language" and consequently, no such thing as "American dubs".

With that said, most people find original language versions better. It makes sense, considering most dubs are typically made by less talented people, and zero director input.

Besides, a lot of foreign English speakers also prefer Japanese media in Japanese. How do you explain them?

  • @Shutkenyuken Agree, they both are kick dubbs are amazing.

  • @Shutkenyuken im from spain and i like both versions a lot.

  • @Shutkenyuken

I have yet to see ANYONE say the american dub is good at all.

I find it tolerable, but if you compare the two, the american one loops the first part of the song twice, while the japanese one has the whole intro, body, chorus and ending.

I have both on my ipod

  • @Shutkenyuken yessir so true hahaha

  • @Shutkenyuken I actually think that the reason is that the singer is always more comfortable singing in his own language rather than in a different one. Especially for asian languages that base on accents.

  • @Shutkenyuken I think it's because it sounds like scatting more to us if we don't understand it. Making the song "lyricless" to us. I think more songs are better like that. No works, just jams. |D

  • @Shutkenyuken Who the fuck are you to say that? I'm American and I prefer watching anime in English. Fuck off, prep.

  • @Shutkenyuken true i cant stop listening to every jap version of my favorite games music

  • @Shutkenyuken Indeed.

  • @Shutkenyuken

Truer words cannot be said. But sometimes I like to listen to the english versions, just cause they tend to sound cooler sometimes.

  • @Shutkenyuken I think its more that cheesy dialogue isn't cheesy when you can't hear it. I would probably cringe at my DVD collection if I knew japanese.

  • @Shutkenyuken I find this song gay.

  • @pocketmonsterfreak yeah dude this crap sounds like backstreet boys shit

  • @pocketmonsterfreak And the song finds you gay

  • @pocketmonsterfreak gay can sense gay.

  • @pocketmonsterfreak so do i

  • @Shutkenyuken

Japan, EU, USA all prefer the Japanese version.

  • @IoIocaust apparently not dude don't be that one dick that disagrees with the person everyone agrees with I'm american id rather hear the Eng version this ones not bad but id rather ya know?

  • @Shadowlink3000GAIA lol cause you're deaf hahahaHAHAHA

  • @IoIocaust gdfo hater

  • @Shadowlink3000GAIA well cause you can understand what they're saying. . but Im a purist who wants the original stuff. . and the singer also has a cooler voice in the original version

  • @IoIocaust cool

  • @IoIocaust this is the origanal dumbass

  • @GamerXD3000 uhh yea, its what i said

  • I don't get it.

This is the first time I have heard a song that sounds exactly the same in different languages. They both sound exactly the same. Don't deny it.

Yet people insist that the Japanese version sounds better. They sound the same!!

Just be real and say that you prefer the Japanese language better! :D

  • @TheSharkPrince Too me in Japanese it flows better and sounds better thats just me and i have heard a song that sounds exactly the same in both english and japanese

  • @MrZeldaNerd Cool. What's the name of that song? :D

  • @TheSharkPrince Just look up tenchi muyo universe opening that is the song tho both versions is done by the same person

  • @MrZeldaNerd I could tell it was the same person singing the English and japanese

  • @ojideagu-Actually both English and Japanese are sung by a group, Exile.

  • @TheSharkPrince the next door

  • @TheSharkPrince You do realize that they do sound different. I mean the melody, and the way the lyrics are sung are the same, but the lyrics do sound noticeably different. Since a lot of people find the english lyrics to have a certain homosexual undertone. While the lyrics being sung are probably the same, for any one who doesn't understand Japanese, or prefers the way it sounds to english, the song does sound better.

  • The theme should've been War. War makes me want to fight. This in either language makes me want to dance.

  • @biohazard724 when io saw the commercial i thought the theme would be war

  • The two songs sound the same. Cool!

  • you need firefox and the addon youtubetomp3 ^^

  • Is there a download link to this song? I can´t find it anywhere.

  • the covert & download as mp3 on the right

  • Pll.... The Street Fighter game was not created through American Fan base and the 2 new character that are American has nothing to do with the US making the Game cause Capcom is a Jp Company -.- so don't be so arrogant other the American as if they really and truly made the game when that's all BS -.-

  • Sure, Capcom is a japanese company but they survive on money made through global sales. The market in Japan isn't enough to justify the budget this game commands - especially with this franchise.

Log on at any given time and you'll see that the majority of players have set their language to English. That and their senior community manager is long-time player and game balancer Seth Killian. They're targeting the overseas market.

Exile did a good job with both versions of this song.

  • Well, yes and no. I mean, Capcom are a global company for sure and SF is massive all over Asia, Europe and the Americas. But the fact that most of the people online speak English is due to a) the fact that most Westerners bought the game on 360 which hasn't sold well in Japan and b) the matchmaking service works by determining who you have a better connection to which will be someone from nearby. I usually get a lot of French people, doesn't mean there's more French people playing than American.

  • I like Rufus c:

    He's a typical American. :3

  • Now I wonder; Do most overweight americans know kung fu? That would be really fun to see...

  • @LesPaul2006 you would be surprised at how many overweight americans are actually very athletic despite their weight.

  • @MahajiHaji And yet he's somehow one of the faster characters in the game.

  • @MahajiHaji More like a typical bastard child of a walrus and a cup of jello.

  • @MahajiHaji Typical americans have fat dicks :D

  • @georgepwner1 ....and small brains :D

  • @MahajiHaji I think Rufus is a little awkward :/ but that's just what I think ^^

  • @MahajiHaji Yeah , Totally american , fat guy who once a day goes to the burger king. very american.

  • @MahajiHaji just how most think of us sadly. Nothing close. Hes my favorite character to destory.

  • @MahajiHaji

No... Hes Fast.... and fat... we be just fat

  • and there is no Eng or JP version cause u can select which language u want it to be simple as that -.- lol morons

  • and besides if you are bothered by the Eng or JP. There is a reason why they made it so that you can change the Audio of the game to either to Eng or JP depending on your preference so don't be say which 1 is better cause u have a choice in this game to listen to one or the other =p

  • i find the JP Theme song great compared. In my opinion so i would take any other Opinion cause its my opinion ^_^

  • the lyrics -were- and still are a great turn-off for many ,Street Fighter fans or not, I wouldn't say the japanese lyrics are better, or the other way around, I belong to the camp that find them equally ....wrong

Happy that Capcom has listened to the critics with Super Street Fighter 4 ,that game will dfinatly replace SFIV even though I never played SF IV much after the initial week.

  • Actually I think the English lyrics sit better with the music than the Japanese. The Japanese feels a bit jilted to me personally.

And to be honest, the amount that Capcom US has had on the development of this game, and the fact that at least two characters were created in response to American thoughts, it wouldn't surprise me if the lyrics were written in English then translated.
