I think even though the sequels weren't too good especially the later ones John Carpenter said it best when he said none of the sequels ever really hurt the original. Halloween 2 was definitely the best of all the sequels though probably because Carpenter was actively involved with the storyline. It also featured the second best musical score of the Halloween series.

got to see this again in irelands horrorthon 2011 in a digital presentation where the sound nearly blew our ears off and actually stands up very well in comparison to the original,wish horror would move away from the torture stuff out now and go back to good old 80's style horror.

If nobody is actually harmed, there is no victims and therfore there is no reason to be sickened. The Halloween series portrays a symbol of human fear in the form of the killer, Michael Myers.

Hallowe'en v Hallowe'en II...

One is based on the classical sound...using mainly piano...a less is more kind of deal.

H2...uses synths and plenty of them...although we consider this now to be retro synth. Retro synth has some awesome forgotten sounds.

Each are superbly written, performed and executed.

Hell...I'll take 'em both!
